Bertolino Law Firm, lives up to their name. They broke everything down for me in a simple way that helped me understand the situation and the steps to take towards resolving my issue. They are straight shooters and they told me from the beginning that everything will be resolved.... they were not wrong. They were my first attorney and the only ones I now trust going forward, hopefully never needed again. Honest, Respectful, and Informative. A company that is truly dependable, reliable, responsive and communicative in what they say they will do. Since our beginning, Mr. King was super attentive in hearing my case and making sure I was taken care of. I explained to him the importance of my situation and how heavily this meant to my future for my family & me, and he made sure I was taken care of every step of the way - 110% money well spent. His team & staff are amazing to say the least. They are the best in what they do and we are happy to have crossed paths with this great team.

This was a terrible experience. They charge you for every little thing, such as phone calls, emails, setting up meetings, receiving documents. You will pay at least approximately $40 for most forms of contact which they claim is documentation of the interaction. Multiple people work on the same items so you get double and triple billed for the same thing. My lawyer Mr. King did not seem to be the most competent lawyer. He made numerous mistakes in documents needing to be submitted to the court then billed me more hours than it took to create the draft to make corrections, which still had mistakes. He also missed essential information vital to my case, stating he didn't see it (I was billed by multiple people that went over the evidence). Then when I fired the firm due to the buckle and diming they do and sub par performance, they continued to bill me for a month or two, stating that is how they close out cases. At the end when I stated my grievences I was strung along and continuously told I would be called back (which didn't happen). When I finally had a meeting to discuss what I felt were frivolous charges, they made it seem like I was wrong to think I shouldn't get charged around $40 to set up a meeting or receive documents by email. I was even charged because they couldn't make it to my board meeting and had to reschedule. Bottom line, do not use this firm unless you want to waste over $10k to get the same results as if you didn't even have a lawyer.

The staff at Bertolino changed a few times over the 5 years I have been a client. While this was unexpected, each change brought new and different talent. Each staff member proved capable to provide the top level representation that brought me to this firm in the first place. Tony was always in the loop and always took responsibility for the work. In my experience, Tony has become more compassionate and connected to clients over the years as opposed to a cut-and-dried disposition that he sometimes portrayed years ago. These lawyers are smart, well prepared and relentless. When they recognized an unjust situation they became more and more personally interested which I believe produced the best results. My case was win on every level up to the Court of Appeals. Tony and his staff were not reserved about offending the licensing agency nor laying it all out for the Court when it may have been risky. My wishes were respected and carried out throughout the process. For any licensing matter I highly recommend this law practice.

Bertolino Law Firm was absolutely AMAZING! I was very scared to receive an investigation letter from the boards and another one from Medicaid claiming fraud. Although financially I wasn't in a position to pay a high retainer, they were worth every dime. They heard me out as a client, prepared me for what may come ahead. The entire firm is awesome and I will never forget them. God bless them all!

So to sum up my whole experience with Bertolino law firm in one word is excellent, they are most courteous, professional and sincere law firm I ever came across with. Once I call them one of their team member call me listen to my whole case and then ask several questions and based on information he got from me he give me my options, put my mind to ease. Once retained all my issues with TMB got resolved with extreme ease, While my cases were going back and forth Mr Bertolino himself called me twice to discuss and guide me through process. That was very big for me as most law firms let their junior associate take care of your case. I never have to appear in front of TMB board, all the settlements I received was to my satisfaction. In conclusion all I will say is if you ever have any issues to your professional license please don’t take it lightly consult Bertolino law firm and let the professional take care of your case. You will not be disappointed.

Not everything that shines is gold! Be wary of this law office and of its Google reviews. This law firm makes its prospective clients pay a $5,000 retainer in order to be able to consult with one of the senior attorneys, which are two. Then, the attorney does not tell his clients how much their case will cost. On top of this, the senior attorneys charge over $400.00 per hour, and their legal assistant charges over $200.00 per hour. The fees charged are high-priced, to say the least. Clients must be prepared to shell out at least $10,000 in less than six months! Finally, when a client decides to dissolve the attorney-client relationship, the client must wait thirty (30) long days before he can get a refund from the retainer. Aside from waiting a long time to get his refund, a client will get more money deducted without any explanation whatsoever. However, after contacting Mr. Bertolino, his law firm showed me some compassion in refunding to me the closing costs of which I was not originally aware. My recommendation is that a prospective client first consult an attorney who will give him a set amount of how much his case will cost. Avoid these vague retainer schemes!

I highly recommend this law firm as they all do amazing work and are highly skilled at what they do. They all take the time to thoroughly research your case, keep you up to date on what they are doing, and answer all of your questions. I was notified by the LPC Board that my license was being threatened of revocation due to a mistake I had made 2 years ago. I was recommended this law firm and immediately contacted them. The first person I met with was Tony and he gave me guidance on what they could do and what they needed from me. The paralegals, Laura and Kerry did a lot of the behind the scenes work, contacting the Board and making sure everything was submitted timely, as well as keeping me up to date on the progress being made. My case took just over 5 months to complete. Frank King did an excellent job preparing me and defending me at the Informal Conference with the Board and it resulted in a favorable outcome where I got to retain my licensure and my livelihood. It can be a scary thing dealing with a licensing Board, but rest assured that this law firm knows what they are doing and will take care of you.
