Without oversharing info about my case. One day, I received a letter in the mail from Texas Dept. License & Regulation stating that a complaint was filed against me and that I may contact them for further info. "What could have I done? " I thought. So, I emailed them to get more details but never received a response from them. I read more about T.D.L.R and found out that this was a serious legal matter and contacted Bertolino for help, which is something I should of done when I first received the letter. They were very friendly and explained to me the situation. The legal team at Bertolino worked diligently to uncover what the complaint was about since it has been stonewalled by the agency. They also handled all formal communications with investigators and I never felt that they mishandled my retainer. In the end, I had a positive outcome in my case and if you're having trouble with T.D.L.R then I highly suggest retaining legal counsel from Bertolino.

Can I give less than a 1 star? Minus 1 star. I was nickel and dimmed for everything I had to argue about bills. I was charged for internal meetings they had about taking on other clients. I was charged for opening mail. $10k later they did absolutely nothing. Avoid this law firm at all costs.
