It’s been a while but I wanted to share my experience with this firm, specifically Patricia Dixon. In 2015, she handled my case perfectly. In 2021, when I needed her to help me with the conclusion of my case, as my 2nd son turned 18, she avoided me like the plague. I can only attest this to the fact that I was paying monthly and she called me personally to pay the balance at a reduced rate. I paid it on the spot and later when I requested help, was ignored.

Kara’s representation of me was absolutely Five Star Plus. She not only researched a compelling defense, but backed it up with four additional potential defenses (which proved unnecessary at the hearing). Plaintiff arrived with a smile and went home with a frown and a bill to pay. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Caroline Alonzo is an amazing advocate. She is smart, thorough, and patient. She has great people skills. She knew how to get me through a tough time and gently push me to hold on. Meant the world to me. Highly recommend.

I hired her and regret it, she was unprepared and I had to repeat myself several times, she was too friendly with the other attorney and she tried to help them, I saw an opportunity and went against her, it worked I got everything I wanted, no thanks to Mary.

My experience with Mary Escamilla can be summed up by an email in which I said, "Please, please, please read the emails I send to you. I know that for you this is just another divorce, but for me it’s my life." Of course, I don't know if she ever read that email either. She was that unconcerned. My emails often went unread. Many times during our conversations I would say to her, "Didn't I send you an email about that." Then I would have to look it up and read it back to her. She didn't listen to my questions either. During one of our last conversations I twice asked her about some tax implications, and twice she answered with something totally unrelated, and I realized I was going to have to figure it out myself. But what's worse than all of that is that there's no evidence that she ever bothered to read the discovery documents, because she was completely unaware and unprepared for what they were going to throw at me. She seemed to spend most of her time worrying about nickel-and-dime credit card accounts. Ultimately, a catastrophe.
