Eric Willie and Heather Cantu are an amazing team. Eric has been extremely helpful during the court/paperwork process. I didn't feel like I had to worry about anything. If it's your first time dealing with anything legal, I HIGHLY recommend going to Eric Willie. (The office puppy is also a huge plus.) :-) Thank you Eric and Team!

A good lawyer. A good person. Sometimes anxiety gets the best of you when you go through a custody battle. My wife tried to limit my time with my kids to 1 day a week supervised. In steps Eric Willie. He didn’t take no for an answer from the other side and convinced me that going to court would be the best way to go. The judge agreed with Mr. Willie. I not only got visitation with my kids. I ended up with 50-50 custody. Thanks your sir.

You need to know exactly how much you helped my girls and I. To this day, their wishes have been honored. You protected my kids when the odds were zero. We got things approved that had never before been allowed. I got a life and career thanks to you. You took small payments when I had no money. You always emailed me back even when it was a million crazy emails. I know you are a lawyer, but you and your staff need to understand how you protected me and my daughters. The court system is very ridged and considers children property. You gave my kids a voice. They are who they are because of you and your staff. I needed an attorney that would be able to take control of an out of control situation with my ex-husband. He was aggressive and handled the case exactly how I needed and advocated for my best interests against an opposing counsel that felt he could steam roll me. Eric didn't let that happen. Eric Willie is an amazing attorney. I met him several years ago and thought he was a very nice person. When my husband asked for a divorce I went straight to Eric. He has walked with me each step of the way in a very stressful, difficult situation. He was patient and kind and supportive with me. In court he was on top of his game, very professional, and ultimately victorious. I went in with a less than a 50% chance of winning my move-away case, and the jury came back with a unanimous decision in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Eric Willie, and thank him for all he has done for my family. UPDATE: I ended up having to return to court to finalize the divorce due to the inability of my ex-husband to negotiate a settlement through our attorneys. Once again Eric Willie was fantastic in the way he handled my settlement with the opposing counsel and with the judge. He has patiently explained all options to me and fought for me to the end. Since I won my case to move away, it was likely I would be penalized severely in the financial aspect of the divorce. However, Eric fought hard and was able to negotiate a much better settlement for my daughters and myself. Divorce is by far the worst thing I’ve ever been through. I was referred to Eric specifically as an expert lawyer who could untangle my convoluted custody case. Eric took over my case in the middle, from a previous lawyer who had done a terrible job and made plenty of ridiculous decisions. Eric was able to sort through all the complications and extraneous details of what had occured so far, and forge a straight, clear path to our goal. He was patient and unruffled as the other side tried to dodge and stall, and plainly explained my options at every step. Eric is a formidable force who doesn't back down, and was able to settle our case in mediation instead of in a trial, a feat I thought impossible, due to the character of the other side. His knowledge of law is thorough, and his knowledge of Travis county specifics is unparalleled. Throughout our process, Eric really listened to me and took the extra time to ask about my doubts, which I appreciated greatly and made the process so much less stressful. When I hired Eric he was very friendly and assured me he could helped me with my case. I provided him with all the documents he needed, and on the court date he failed to present all the evidence to the judge. He is irresponsible, does not listen, arrogant, and never answers or returns calls. Don't waste your money or time with him.

Well all I can say , is Eric thank you very much. After being married for 28 years coming from California. Divorce can be and is a very stressful and yes even scary thing even for me , After consulting with a few different attorneys . I found myself most comfortable with Eric for a few reasons ,one his experience wanting to know about my family about the relationship the good the bad and the difficult . I didn't feel like I was just another case for him ,he was concerned about my well-being my family's well-being and being very sensitive to the situation. Thinking that I was going to be in store for one heck of a roller coaster ride Eric went into detail and explain to me the process of divorce here in Texas which was quite different from California thank God.
