If you need something done and you'd like to deal with someone who's straightforward, honest and beyond capable; this is the firm you've been looking for. READ BELOW First of all, let me point out that I'm extremely ignorant to situations requiring an attorney/lawyer. I can count on one hand the times I've had to go to court with an attorney present. In fact, I can count on two fingers. That said, I would like to point out that my search for an attorney was an arduous one, considering I do not live in the county where I required representation and as an added curveball, I was unable to attend the court date. I went through a laundry list of attorneys and firms that wasted hours and hours of my time. I even dumped money on a "legal coaching" that got me nowhere closer to my intended goal. In walks Eric Willie. I submitted my info through the website and anticipated the same result that I'd been accustomed to, but that was not the case here. Eric called me DIRECTLY. He was unable to reach me on the first phone call, so he left a voicemail and shot me a text with his cell number. That's the definition of customer service. That in itself was an encouraging light after all of the time I'd wasted prior. I called Eric back and got through to him immediately. After briefly explaining my situation briefly, he had all that he needed and INSTANTLY calmed my nerves by assuring me that I was in good hands. No BS, straight to the point. He proposed the formulated plan, addressed all of my concerns and I got off the phone feeling light for the first time in weeks. In the leadup to my court date, I was worried and called/texted him a few times which might've been a bit much, but he replied promptly each time and put my mind at ease. Moving forward, it's now the day after my court date and we had a few options that we could've walked away with. He gave me realistic expectations, so I was prepared for some minor fees and/or continued legal proceedings. However, IT'S DONE! The case was entirely dismissed. Justice prevailed and I cannot thank the team at Willie & Dasher Law enough! Eric's on the Christmas list in our household.

The girls who answer the phone are always so pleasant to speak. Sometimes I can't get through to my attorney or paralegal right away but they do respond in a timely manner.

I can attest that based on my direct experience, this attorney is neither trustworthy nor competent. I had a deep gut feeling telling me to run. But Willie perceptively saw my skepticism and assured me, and even said "I'll take care of you." He told me that he had gone against my ex's attorney, Amie Rodnick, and "won," something I now can't even begin to fathom, given his incompetent and bad faith representation of me and my son. The ONLY legal advice or information he gave me was, "The best defense is offense, " which was his reply, when I told him that my ex was threatening to "slap" me with trumped up legal issues when I tried to address my ex regarding legal issues of monies owed to me and scheduling. I fell in to my ex's trap and was ambushed in court. My ex and his attorney's unethical slandering of me and my son were absolutely foreseeable, as I warned Mr. Willie that I direly sought an attorney because my ex and his attorney has made good on their abusive threats in the past. Eric Willie grossly executed his own pretext. Eric Willie swiped the palm of my hand with his finger while my son was in his office. It was gross, disgusting, assaultive and abusive. I was not expecting the extreme degree of slander and hysterical theatre my ex's attorney would execute in the hearing. (I later learned that lawyers are protected from slander while conducting official hearings, something everyone should be aware of.) During the court hearing, Eric Willie returned from a private conference with my ex's attorney saying that his attorney insisted I needed a psychological evaluation and he agreed. The hearing was supposed to be about money owed to me and my son's home schedule. It ended up being shanghaied by my ex's slanderous and blatantly false accusations that my son was a drug addict and juvenile delinquent, and it was my fault. A "drug counselor" was named by her and temporary court orders were issued. Clearly, the judge didn't buy it has my son was issued to reside with me until the next hearing. But Ms Rodnick’s tactic of distracting from the legal issues that direly needed addressed worked, thanks to Eric Willie’s negligence and incompetence. I was in shock. After the hearing, Eric Willie told me and my son, "it is what it is" and "have a good day," and left us standing there. When I called him later that afternoon, I was desperate to get the name of the counselor to find out his or her credentials. Eric Willie completely disregarded anything I said and responded with such extreme hostility, lewdness and contempt. He kept repeating "I think you are crazy," and then with lewdly suggestive tone, comments like, "I was just trying to help a lady...I could help a lady." I hung up and then called my ex's attorney's office and begged the receptionist to give me the name of the supposed "drug counselor." I never saw or heard from Eric Willie after that. Another family law attorney I consulted called the courthouse and informed me of a pending hearing. It is my contention that Eric Willie intended for me and my son to miss that hearing. I would later learn that Eric Willie filed the wrong paper work with the court, and that he was well known for his many emotive advertisements. He did NOTHING to defend me against an avaricious and slanderous ex and attorney. It is also my understanding that Eric Willie lied to my ex's attorney and the family law attorney I subsequently hired. The malpractice, stress and betrayal heavily impacted me and my kids. I will never get over how sleazy this guy operated instead of properly and professionally advocating and representing me and a 15 year old boy, as he was retained to do. Hire this state licensed attorney at your own risk. I was and am still deeply traumatized by Eric Willie’s flagrant and deliberate professional misconduct.
