Edit 4/4/2022 The below review applies specifically to JASON BOUCHARD and despite his employment by CWI, I'm confident is not a direct reflection on Christopher Watters standard operating procedure. I was contacted by Kia Potter at Watters shortly after posting this review and she was rightfully appalled and sincerely apologetic that we were in this situation led by the "master negotiator" Jason Bouchard. Unfortunately, the deal was already done and the real estate PTSD that transpired from the prior week or so had already been put irrefutably in place. If Jason had taken the time to call and even FAKE an apology, which I'm certain he is capable of, I would have not been as apt to pen this review -- he instead relied on a coworker to attempt to clean up his mess. Terrific ownership Jason, world class. Stuff happens, maybe there was an explanation, though doubtful and I suspect he was applying his time to the next easy buck. SELLER BEWARE. Don't buy into JASON BOUCHARD'S snake oil, he somehow penetrated a seemingly top notch organization, which is a shame and hopefully will be quickly shaped up or shipped out. ********************** The overall structure of how Watters International markets homes is great, they are elevating real estate agents from the dark days of no technology (or difficult to use technology) and proving it works. Did we get over "asking"? Yes, but we live in Austin, anyone who finds this shocking has been asleep for the last 2 years. The agent claiming to be a "master negotiator" repeatedly underwhelmed us as well as changed his answer to potential scenarios for what I'm forced to assume was his convenience. The agents "assistant" continued their trend of lacking personalized attention (and care) and came off like she was doing us a favor every step of the way; I'm perplexed on how a $30k+ commission doesn't spell out who works for who. The agent nor anyone from Watters International bothered to come to the closing, perhaps 9a is before their business hours but frankly, they just don't care... the check is already in the mail. Overall, considering we did fairly well on our home sale (about 8% over asking), we found using Watters International to have been a mistake. Maybe they are selling too many houses and don't have time or this market has conditioned them to work in such a half hearted manner but either way, hindsight is 20/20 and if you're reading this far you should consider ALL of your options.

We had an amazing Real Estate Agent from Watters Realty. Melissa Guth was helping us buy a property. She was patient and listened to what we wanted. She never shied away no matter what we wanted to see or where it was. We had a lot of questions and when she didn't know the answer, she had a team she could take it to. She always got back to us in a timely manner. She is great to work with and taught us so much. We will be using her again when the need arises. Thank You Melissa for Everything.

It was so easy to work with our agent Renee, Jodi our transaction coordinator and all the others behind the scenes at Watters International. Renee and Jodi were easily accessible for any questions we had. This could have been a stressful process, but they made us feel well taken care of and informed at every step!

As first time home buyers we were clueless about the process but Eric took the time to help us understand and guide us through every step. Great communication and professionalism. Eric took the time to know us and was at every appointment with us, we always felt comfortable asking him to contact our builder when we had any concerns. Watters is growing at the expense of quality which is negatively impacting his staff and morale. His compensation model serves one person only and that's him, not to mention the isolating and toxic work environment. Don't be fooled, they are sales people and their focus is on the numbers, not the people unfortunately.

So when I decided to sell my home I contacted Watters International and Renee became my contact realtor. She came to the house to discuss how to price and show the house to get the highest price possible. I explained to Renee what price I would like to list for and she agreed that it was an achievable price. When we listed the house I had three full price offers the first day and agreed to sell for at 10k over the asking price the first day. Renee was awesome keeping me updated with offers and literally responded within minutes to any questions I had. I am exceedingly happy with Renee and her work from Watters International Realty I would recommend them to anyone selling their property.

Renee was very professional and calm when i was a total mess trying to sell my mom's house. She returned all of my calls and texts within minutes and kept me on track with completing all the paperwork required. Not only did she help me through a difficult time and sell the house, she became a friend. Thank you so much for everything!! Jana Erickson
