No one needs to tell you divorce is hard, but it makes the situation easier when you know a kind, thorough, and dependable lawyer has your best interests in mind. My divorce was mostly amicable, but I wanted to ensure my interests were protected and would stay intact in the eyes of Texas law. Mr. Evans and his team did exactly that. I'll forever be grateful.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Evans Family Law. Despite their high fees suggesting superior service, my experience proved otherwise. During my divorce case, I received poor advice that only increased my anxiety instead of providing reassurance. Despite not needing to file anything, as the case was initiated by my spouse, more than half of my $5000 retainer was quickly depleted without any significant actions taken on my behalf. No documentation was ever presented to the court for my side. Additionally, when I inquired about my ongoing case, they had no record of my parenting plan, which was completed but apparently never filed. Furthermore, if you decide to hire this firm, ensure you use the entire retainer, as attempts to obtain a refund of the remaining balance have been unsuccessful for months.
