Called to ask a general question to see if this office could help, the same approach I used when speaking with all local law offices. I was told this isnt a hotline...

Recently, I participated in a consultation to determine if my case against my employer had merit. Although I was disappointed with the answers that I received, I was very impressed with the attorney from your firm. He was prepared and familiar with my concerns before the video consultation began. He was extremely articulate and well versed in employment law. I have always taken pride in my extremely high professional ethics. Although I was treated in a very disrespectful and unprofessional manner by my former employer, it is so difficult to punish such unethical behavior by bad actors when governed by "at will" employment law in Texas. His detailed answers were very specific and easy to understand. He was very compassionate about my circumstances. At the conclusion of the teleconference, I was at peace. Life is too short. I never submitted my intake on their website, and this law office contacted me anyways to tell me I need to pay them $250 for a consultation. I don’t appreciate you guys saving the little information I did fill out on the website just to cold call me and demand a consultation fee in order to finish the call. Inappropriate!

Charges $250 for an initial consultation. Why am I paying before we even speak?

Please stay away from this firm. I too paid the consult fee and told I had a case. Once I paid the $5,000 retainer, I was passed off some random admin lawyer (Paige) who wasn’t who I spoke with originally. I’m certain Deontae and Paige never reviewed my documentation. Their work is shoddy and sent to me for a review that had typos and errors. I received excuses from Paige when my phone calls and emails went unanswered. To this day I still have not received the EEOC memo they were supposed to draft….
