Dennis and his associates were an absolutely impressive team of people. We were blindsided by a family member trying to seek custody of our child after my significant other had a horrifying incident. Mr. Slate and his team were always on hand in the drop of a hat to help us through this process. When the day of court finally came, it was the most impressive thing I have ever seen someone do. Mr. Slate is absolutely worth every single penny. He is the hardest working individual I have ever met and his scope of knowledge is uncanny. He is no nonsense and very blunt, but if you do what he says and follow his instructions he will absolutely get the job done. We can not thank him enough and if you ever need a lawyer for family law there is no one in Houston that can match his caliber.

My experience with this law firm was wonderful. I hired Dannielle Simms. She was very professional, personable and got me wonderful results on my case in a very timely manner. If I ever needed a family attorney again, I would absolutely hire her or Mr Slate again.

I dismissed by agreement my 1st attorney who was a family friend because he was not brazen enough to stand up for my rights as a father and more importantly what needed to be done to protect my son from his own narcissistic psycho mother, step sister and her parents. Secondly as in my case do not run a business with a woman like I married you may find out like I did that she is embezzling the payroll tax money for her own piggy bank and planning to send you off to prison to cover up her crimes while she is enjoying an affair with your son's baseball coach. There are thousands of attorneys to choose from but you need a professional like Dennis Slate. If you want an attorney who will do what is in the best interest of your child and make sure you are not jerked around by the opposing counsel then hire Dennis Slate! Dennis and his firm are the team you need. Their are no words sufficient enough to express my deep gratitude of how Dennis used documented evidence and his skill to finally return my son to me. Dennis also has a paralegal Ryann and she is a very skilled intricate part of the Slate team! Take it from me Dennis Slate delivers and he cuts out the unnecessary BS in the system when possible and he doesn't let opposing counsel run the show by any means! Heart was broken today, we had an appointment with me slate at 4 but before it was time to go we were informed that they didn’t handle appeal cases. We really wanted them to represent us. We don’t know what to do.webeen fighting cps for years and it’s like we never get a break. All I can ask is for god to be with us. I wish we had known about mr slate a long time ago.

Dennis represented me in my custody case. My sons mother tried to take me to court to have all my rights and visitation taken away. Dennis and his staff fought for me and in the end I got even more time with my son without even going to trial. Originally I could only see my son every other weekend. Now I get to see him every day except for every other weekend. I can't thank him and his staff enough. If you want an attorney who knows the laws and is a pit bull in the court room then Dennis is your man.

I'm really not sure what goes on at this office, but when I called to ask for a consultation, all I was able to get from the phone call was hostility. I understand that I don't know the legalities behind everything, because I'm not a LAWYER. But getting an answer questioned from these people in order to know if I have a case or not was like herding cats. Instead, I guess they prefer getting you into the office to charge you per question. Why would I file suit unless I know I have a case?

I received the assistants from Dennis Slate 3 years ago for my original case. The Slate team was very effective in resolving my case and provided great feedback and advice throughout my case.
