Uneducated in the law. Poor service

"I hired Brett Podolsky to represent my son who was charged with raping a woman in a public park. My family met with several lawyers and decided to put our faith in Brett Podolsky. Some of the attorneys we met with were only concerned about how much we could pay and others seemed to not have the skill or desire to tackle such a serious allegation. Needless to say we were very skeptical of lawyers and had never had to hire one for a criminal charge. My son is a college student who met a girl online (another student) and after talking online agreed to go on a date. They ended up having sex and she immediately accused him of a violent sexual assault. They had DNA and he was charged with felony sexual assault. He was looking at 20 years and having to register as a sex offender for life. Obviously, we were worried that my son's life was over before it really began. Mr. Podolsky worked for months investigating the case, gathering records, going to court month after month. He put a case together for the grand jury to convince them not to indict our son. Most lawyers told us that the grand jury indicted everything and it was a foregone conclusion. Not Mr. Podolsky, he had a binder of evidence, statements, emails, text messages, photos, school records and community character references etc. for the grand jury. After what seemed like weeks of deliberation, the Grand Jury decided not to indict my son and the case was dismissed! We owe Brett Podolsky a debt of gratitude we can never repay."

I was charged with a felony theft case and was facing punishment of 5-99 years.
