My attorney Paola Barbieri, was very kind and helpful. She was patient in answering all of my questions about her law school experiences. Clean and professional

We filed a mechanical lien affidavit on a property that Patten Title closed on weeks after the lien was filed. We contacted their office to discuss the matter and received little to no response from their staff for over two weeks. They requested several documents from our office which were provided to them, yet we have received little to no response. Our president and owner met with the President of Patten Title, Eric Fontanot, who basically indicated they want to settle the matter in court despite their admittance of their mistakes and the fact they didn't really seem to care. They admit to missing the mechanical lien affidavit on file and attempted to ensure it wasn't intentionally missed but don't want to take any responsibility for it. They are now being sued for damages. We advise using a reputable and quality title company that operates with the utmost integrity. Not a company with questionable operations who will handle the closing on a title on a property with a lien on file.
