BEWARE. Used Russell in a family law case. Let me see where to start. On multiple occasions couldn’t remember the basic facts of my case. Bungled the paperwork to request for jurisdiction to transfer the case closer to us. Had to revisit Houston twice, once even driving him there. Showed up late 3 out of 4 hearings. FIRST quotes $5k. I pay, then says he needs $10k. I pay. Then says he needs $30k. I don’t have it. Then says it’s ok because I probably wouldn’t win my custody case anyway. THEN offered me $50 gift card to the steakhouse for a good review.??? Lawyers like this give lawyers in general a bad name. I feel like this attorney is money hungry and incompetent. I wouldn’t recommend hiring this attorney at all.

I just wanted to share our experience with Mr. Russell Amsberry. I was referred to him by my employer through MetLife. We had an urgent situation come up with a family member and he helped us very expeditiously to secure a Financial POA. We were lost and didn’t know where to start. He put us at ease with his plethora of knowledge regarding our situation. We are so very happy we found Mr. Amsberry and could not have asked for a more kind, caring, Attorney to assist us with our family matter. We would highly recommend Mr. Amsberry for any family matter.

If you care about your kids Russel is the lawyer you are looking for. Me and my daughter were having lots of problem such as abusing , not taking care of his kid well etc. with my ex husband. I hired 2 lawyers before Russell and spent thousands of dollars . What result did I get ? Nothing! When I met Russell he got my trust right away and I decided to work with him. Less than 3 months he had my ex husband gave up all his parental rights . Russel is a great lawyer and definitely knows what he is doing.
