Bill, bill, bill, but never do anything. Had an attorney that has a domestic violence case in the same county he is working in which wasn’t disclosed to me and I never would have hired with that information. Weeks to get the simplest requests done, which were never done at all. Very negative view from the legal community when I interviewed replacement attorneys. The resounding feedback was consistently unprepared for trial and inflated billing. Hiding an attorney that has abysmal reviews for their solo practice under the firm is unethical and a liability. Look elsewhere for a family law attorney unless you want to be yes’ed to death with never ending excuses. Happy to pay for quality representation and this was not it.

I cannot recommend this firm enough. From my initial consultation with Erin, my first meeting with Ruby, the guidance and support I received was phenomenal. The level of professionalism, and compassion in this firm is second to none. The paralegals, and the office staff were not only welcoming and helpful, they made the hardest time in my life a bit easier to get through. Although my divorce was complex and difficult, The Bolton Law Firm team was able to help me. My end result, getting half custody of my son, is worth 5 stars all day. That said, the experience wasn't perfect, as the firm had some staffing changes that included the attorney who sold me on the firm leaving shortly after I paid my retainer. They were able to give my case the priority I felt I was promised once I complained, which is more than fair. While they were more expensive than I initially expected, they were also good about not sending me to collections when I took a while to pay my bills. Much appreciated. Finally, I need to say that Ruby was absolutely outstanding in court when I faced a scurrilous application for a protection order (it was thrown out). If your case isn't going to be argued, then maybe try someone else on the staff and save a little $. Otherwise, I strongly recommend Ruby's representation if you need someone to speak for you on critical family law matters.
