After consulting with Eric, in 2012, we hired him to handle my mother in law's estate. He implemented a trust and filed an application for a Veteran's Widow' pension, for financial assistance in her care. The application was approved and the additional money was a godsend in helping with the cost of her care. Anytime I had a question I would call the office and they were wonderful. I was never made to feel that my silly questions weren't important. Sadly, my mother in law passed away last year. A simple phone call to the office provided me with assistance in finalizing her estate. Because of the depth of his knowledge in estate planning all of her assets were protected. Eric, Clelia and their entire staff Are absolutely wonderful.

My experience with Eric and his team has been amazing. I had no clue about what I needed to do or know before I began this process. Being uncertain is why I put it off for so long. At the beginning of this process I immediately hit a road block with an Attorney that I was uncomfortable with which caused me to step back. A very long overdue thank you to Sibylle Grebe and Lorenzo Stoller for taking control of a seemingly out-of-control situation during the early days of Covid in 2020 in protecting my father and his estate from his deceased wife's children. I initially met with Sibylle to have her represent my dad after his wife had passed, in figuring out how to best protect his assets. While she was unable to represent him due to capacity issues, she was able to represent me. Sibylle had me move quickly to find the original trust documents which had likely been drafted without much input from my father a few years earlier, floating everything from making sure I had co-power of attorney and co-trustee powers on all the documents to considering a conservatorship. Lorenzo then took over the case and seamlessly helped draft new documents that protected my father and helped me keep oversight over his wife's children. My dad now resides with me in Washington state, and has since regained some capacity. Although he has shaky recollection of that year due to the stress of his grief and Covid, I am forever grateful to The Probate House for doing what needed to be done to protect the livelihood for which he had worked his entire life as a physician in Los Angeles. At 85, he has never been happier and is healthy. As a former estate planning and probate attorney, The Probate House is easily the best. Thank you, Sibylle and Lorenzo.

Glenn assisted me in setting up an estate plan that would protect my husband, who just had a stroke, in the event of my passing. He took time to explain the entire estate planning process as well as how the estate plan would work in different scenarios. His explanation was very easy for me to understand. My wife and I worried that setting up our “living trust” would be time consuming and complex. It could not have been more simple. We met via Zoom meetings ( just 2 meetings) to get an understanding of the process and an overview of the product we had chosen. We filled out a workbook with our assets and we discussed beneficiaries and sent back any critical information to Joel. Our next meeting was a 30 minute in-person session where we validated the paperwork and signed the forms. Joel made the experience a pleasant one by laying out any complexities and explaining them in a clear and simple way and and answering any questions we had. The whole process took us no longer than a few hours. I highly recommend calling Joel Bernstein if you need to create a Will or Trust.

I found Peter Herbst via AVVO when I did a search looking for a new trust attorney. I was looking to revamp my outdated trust documents and make some changes and had no clue where to start. After reaching out to more than 4 attorneys to help with a complicated , 100 year old land deed which needed a cleared title, I was wholly discouraged. Each professional from whom I sought help barely listened to the facts of my story as they quickly surmised that the work required to clear this title would outweigh what they could charge to do it.
But then I found Mike! Mike returned my phone call with only a few moments before the close of the business day, on the eve of his birthday. Due to my previous experiences and the late hour, I expected to hear yet another rushed excuse for not taking up my case. But to my delight, Mike listened to the details of my heirloom property.
He asked questions, paused often in thought. He was actually contemplating solutions! In this initial conversation, he went straight to work at his computer all the whole asking deeper questions and contemplating possible roadblocks. He pulled up some details about the plot. He checked the assessors database and looked for local title companies who might provide us with other details needed before any real legal work could begin. And all of this effort within a few moments of chatting with me!
What a kind and sympathetic gentleman. Here was a man who was truly passionate about his profession. He seems to truly enjoy the work of untying legal knots simply for the challenge of it, the satisfaction of solving a puzzle just because it was intriguing. Where the other lawyers spoke first about payment and money, Mike spoke first about the specific legal processes required, and considerations that might make things tricky, like any good craftsman does when assessing a project.
I was delighted to find this rare gem who defies all the lawyer stereotypes of being cold and greedy. I am looking forward to his help resolving my legal matter.

Tonya Gibbs Penn is the exception, not the rule. Not only did she have tremendous compassion with our case, but she also proved to be a brilliant attorney who demonstrates a true interest in her clients and their cases.
We live in Nashville and wanted someone to represent us who would really care about our case. Trust was an important factor because our case was in Virginia and we’re in Tennessee, about ten hours from court.
Ms. Penn not only made sure that we understood the specifics of our current case, but she also explained what we would need to expect going forward. She never ignored any communication or kept us guessing. She was forthright and highly responsive.
More importantly, no one else would’ve been so willing to peel back the layers of the case and ask the questions that she asked in order to get the best information to help us better prepare for the future.

There is no better attorney to have with you in family court. He’s honest and upfront and will not stop fighting for you. My nightmare case has lasted 9 years and he’s been a godsend every single step of the way. He’s whip smart, detail oriented and has a mass of resources behind him that are invaluable. I cannot speak any higher of Jeff Branch. He handled my unfortunate divorce for me and made it a smooth, way less stressed ordeal. I had originally hired a different attorney who did what most lawyers do, promise to help you, get your money, then put you on the back burner. After my wife's attorney walked on my attorney a few times with no fight I called and met with Mr. Branch. Let me just say, the tides turned quickly to a point where everything smoothed out and stayed fair. One of the most brutally honest people I know, Jeff always told me the truth and shot me straight. Right from the start with my case, he told me "no one will walk away with everything, but I promise you'll both walk away with what you can live with". He was so right, our divorce was fair and neither side felt cheated. The one thing I will say is Jeff Branch commands respect with his knowledge of the law and his winning attitude. From the moment he took over my case, it was like I had hired a Pit Bull to represent me. He watched over my case with great attention, communicated with me at every step, and literally changed the balance of the divorce from my wife and her attorney taking anything and everything they could to them doing more agreeing to Jeff's terms and submitting to what he told them they could have. His courtroom presence is very professional but very intimidating at the same time, with an air about himself as someone not to be pushed around. My case was very difficult and I had so many attorneys decline my case but they would tell me to contact Ms. Speyer, so she’s very well respected with her colleagues they said she would help move things along in my case. Another review said she’s not coddling which she isn’t and that’s needed in order to get things done and keep clients on task it helped me so much. She’s very well respected with the court systems especially Phila Register of Wills and that helps when your trying to get information or get something done. She did a great job of keeping me on task and not letting me get bothered by irrelevant information especially the hatred coming from the other side, so her not allowing me to get emotional showed me she knew what I needed at the time to keep things moving along. My recommendation for anyone using her is to calm down and let her handle things it will take so much of the stress out, you know you hired the best, trust that decision. Ms. Speyer helped me so much and I appreciate her and would and will be recommending her to anyone going through a similar situation.

As executor for both my father and sister's estates, I found myself out-of-my-league in completing the numerous court documents and deadlines needed to meet the State's requirement. Additionally, I was steering this during recovery from a heart transplant. This is really *THE* Probate Guy you need to have on speed dial! We were unprepared for an unexpected death of my father in law.
