Like most, I never expected that I would find myself going through a divorce. This, however, was not the worst part of it. I was served with a temporary DVRO from my ex-wife that was full of the most slanderous statements that I ever could have imagined and an expressed desire to move out-of-state with our 6-year old daughter. I was feeling scared, desperate, and nearly without hope.
I was referred to Mr. Burton by a dear friend of mine and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, within a short period of time, he and I found our way to craft what we believed to be a winning strategy.
We were outspent 5 to 1 and went through a grueling six day trial. But, at the end, we kept my daughter with me and I feel a tremendous amount of gratitude to the work and dedication to the truth that Mr. Burton demonstrated during our shared ordeal.
With my divorce final and my daughter near me, I can, without hesitation, state that if I had any other attorney, I doubt my life would be the same.

Besides (or rather in spite of) his many years of experience, Randall Burton offers some of the most competitive rates for comparable services of anyone practicing in the state.

I can’t say enough positive things about Chelsea. I was the party of a nasty divorce with a narcissist; which is the worst divorce to encounter. After having two previous attorneys that wanted to play games, I hired Chelsea to complete remaining items. John reviewed all my landlord tenant dispute document (lease, county inspection, email and text correspondence, my narrative of the sequence of event) and gave me honest opinion that I'm at fault, advised me to settle with the tenants. It was a very emotional, frightening experience that really clouded my judgement. His honest opinion forced me to face the reality and make the right concession. I was decided to hire him for the settlement offer letter, but the tenants couldn't wait. I had to hurry up and draft the agreement myself and sign with the tenants. We arrived at 9am for a consultation at 9:30am. We figured we'll be waiting for a while anyway, so we got comfortable. Stacy did not hesitate to welcome us with coffee and assisted us right away, ahead of our scheduled time. Stacy listened to my problem, and was able to provide options for next steps. She also provided her own recommendation. In going through the steps, I completely understood the process, the timeline, my own liability, and the actions and possible outcomes of all parties involved.

Nat is a sharp, diligent and DEDICATED attorney. He gave me a very quick history on precedents of my legal issue, gave me some options, made recommendations and came up with a plan.
He was instrumental in not only resolving a frustrating experience with my HOA.....but also set the scenario up so that if they *didn't* acquiesce, then we would be in a particularly advantageous position, legally speaking.
Fortunately, that never had to play out, but he was ready to be there.
If you want a lawyer who will listen, take your side, tell you your options and potential/likely outcomes, and is thinking multiple steps ahead of your adversary, and it willing to be generous and judicious with your/his time....then, hire him.

Ms. Benjamin helped me get a DUI case dismissed. I had no idea of my rights and basically give up so much by thinking the arresting officer was my “friend”. I know in cases of wrongful stopping and even arresting without probable cause is a violation and may have been avoided had I known Ms. Benjamin before.
After reviewing my discovery, my below the limit blood alcohol levels and incorrect arresting procedures, my case was dismissed. I’m happy to have that part of my life behind me with.
Thank you Ms. Benjamin it was a long and scary ordeal faced with uncertainty, but your truthful and positive outlook gave me the confidence to live before the verdict and certainly enjoy the freedom of not having this unfortunate incident on my records.

My husband passed away in 2020 and I had to sell the family farm in Michigan. Part of the farm was in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). The buyer told me he was going to leave the farm in the CRP program, but did not. Because he lied to me and withdrew the land from CRP, the Farm Serve Agency (FSA) sought tens of thousands of dollars from me in fees and penalties. I did not have the money to pay, so I searched out an attorney and found John in Indiana. Knowing he was a farmer and attorney, I felt he was the guy that could fix this issue for me. John represented me at a hearing at the Michigan State Farm Service Agency and we successfully got the penalties reduced down to only $3,000, saving me tens of thousands of dollars. For anyone needing an FSA or USDA attorney, I would highly recommend John.

Suzanne helped me with my divorce last year. She is professional, sharp, and extremely effective. I was able to keep my retirement accounts because she pointed out that my ex and I had always kept our accounts separate from day 1 of the marriage, and that I should be able to retain my own accounts. The judge accepted this and signed off on it, and I feel safe and financially secure as a result.
As contentious as divorce can be, she helped keep everything fair and civil. She is a wonderful person who wants to help.

It is a pleasure to compliment the legal work that Susanne Ewy has done for me.
At 92 years of age my ability to deal with Boulder (Colorado) County authorities is quite limited. When I received notice this year that my home valuation had just risen by 50% I was shocked. This meant my home real estate taxes would also rise by this same 50% amount!
Boulder (Colorado) County displayed “comparable” nearby home properties that had recently sold as justification despite the significant differences in comparisons. I engaged Suzanne Ewy to help me deal with Boulder County over this gross exaggeration.
She developed a plan, gathered materials, both statistical and visual, and, within the County-stated strict limitations, delivered my request for re-evaluation. She prepared, I think, about forty-five pages of information for the County.
The County Assessor rejected her request for re-evaluation completely, requiring her to file an appeal and appear before the Board of Equalization. She prepared me for that virtual hearing, making sure that I could hear and understand the proceedings.
Long story shortened, the BOE granted me the totality of my evaluation amount – the entire reduction of 50%. Virtually unheard of in this county. This will result in a reasonable tax amount that will have an immediate and a long-term effect on this aging citizen who has paid Boulder real estate taxes since about 1970.
My many thanks and admiration for her reasoned and effective work is unbounded.

We hired Mr. Adams to help us with our estate planning and set up a special needs trust for our disabled child. We are not rich people. We wanted to make sure our child was provided for in the very best way after we were gone. He held a series of meetings with us and explained the estate planning process every step of the way. My sisters and I hired Mr. Bunin to get a squatter out my father's residence so we could finish the probate and sell the home. Mr. Bunin did an amazing job for us. He always kept us informed, and was always honest with us even if it hurt. He promptly returned phone calls and responded to e-mails. His style was to get to the point quickly, and not waste time. Within just a few short months, we were able to get the matter resolved and got the squatter out of the house. We had to pay the squatter a little money in order to get him out, but we were okay with that because it would have cost us a lot more if we had to go to trial. I would definitely recommend Mr. Bunin for any legal matter.

Attorney Pack was always available. He never goes to court with more than one client at a time. The opposing counsel had four cases that day, so we waited. Mr. Pack was totally prepared, and we won on all issues. The defense's evidence we were ready to defend was not presented well by opposing attorney, so the Judge believed our side of the case. Mr. Pack taught me how to "testify" the truth in the most favorable light. Being prepared is such a plus, and Mr. Pack was.

I first consulted Scott Hartley in October 2010. My wife and I wanted to review and revise our Wills, and also a Family Trust that we had established many years previously. Also, we needed to do a Durable Power of Attorney, and Advance Health Care Directive. It was apparent immediately that Scott Hartley had broad expertise in all these areas. Again, the whole experience has been very positive. We hired Nancy through the recommendation of a friend to draft up wills for us after the birth of my son. She did not disappoint! She explained to us what we needed for our wills and such, and made suggestions on how to protect our assets. I have worked with several lawyers before.
