The staff provides the right answers to your questions and concerns while providing support in a time of need. Mr. Meinders has been one of the two legal representatives that I have used in the past 22 years. My parents, after years of thinking, wanted to have an estate plan set up. After a lengthy research process, I found Mark's law firm. After reaching out to Mark and learning about his decades of estate planning expertise, I felt very comfortable setting up a consultation for my parents with Mark. After my parents met with Mark and his team, they were also very impressed with Mark's legal knowledge as he was able to address each and every questions they had. My sister and I worked with Jeff on my cousin's estate. She found Jeff shortly before she died and was seeking his assistance in writing a will and ensuring that her wishes were respected. Jeff worked with her so compassionately and with such care. My aging parents needed updated wills and a trust for real estate, and I was referred to Dave by a friend. We had our initial meeting with Dave a few years ago to discuss their individual desires. The meeting could be described as 'painful' at best, since my parents had made decisions as to their respective beneficiaries without discussion between themselves before the meeting. There was a look of shock on both my parents' faces as they each described how they wanted their property divided. Dave was extremely sensitive to the situation when he realized there was more going on than just a standard will and trust for two people in their 80s. He very diplomatically pointed out the possible legal issues with their choices of beneficiaries and how they wanted property disposed, and also brought up in a sensitive manner the personal ramifications. After a very frank and robust discussion, both parents were satisfied with Dave's recommendations, and the wills and trust were put in place.
My mother passed away a few years after the meeting. Dave and his paralegal Brenda were very responsive to my needs as executor and trustee, which was complicated by my living out of state. They arranged their schedules so I could meet with them when I was in town. Dave was pragmatic in advising me as to what I could/should handle versus what they could do as lawyers for my mother and the trust. I got the sense that he was not looking to do simple tasks just to generate billable hours. They responded quickly to questions about forms to be filed, possible issues with the trust selling the family home, and additional documents needed by the realtor.
It is very hard when a parent passes away, and the groundwork laid by Dave a few years ago made the estate settlement process less complicated than it would have been without the will and trust. Dave and Brenda helped throughout the settlement process, from the time of her death to the trust distribution. Working with them was one of the more pleasant aspects during this trying time.

Dave Osterman is one of the finest attorney's I've worked with. He came recommended to me by a friend, who Dave had just completed a Living Trust for. Dave's fee structure was simple and he delivered far more value than I felt he charged. The Living Trust he prepared for my wife and I was incredibly detailed and covered aspects of our assets I had not even thought of. He continues to answer questions on my trust, to this day, years after preparing it. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone, particularly with a large portfolio of assets.

I had a difficult couple cases and Paul has never let me down. He stepped into a case recently that was a nightmare and he made the other attorney look like such an amateur. One of the most settling things I did with my parents was to sit with Mr. Walser and have him explain to all of us how to prepare my parent's estate. It put both my mother and father at complete ease knowing they had someone they could trust to call should they have any questions. My dad has since passed and everything went exactly as Mr. Walser told us it would with his estate. Very seldom does a person get to deal with a professional who deserves more than 5 stars! Thankfully we were able to find such a person in the sad period after our good friend died in Honolulu, HI.
We needed an estate and probate attorney to discuss and handle the distribution of the estate. We contacted Samuel Suen by email on a Sunday. He responded within a few hours and we set up a conference call for the following morning. Mr. Suen answered all our questions clearly in both a friendly and professional manner.
At the end of an hour-long discussion, for which there was no charge, I asked how we would pay his very reasonable hourly rate. Much to our surprise, he said we shouldn't hire him because there was no need to probate this particular will.
His honesty and forthrightness was amazing! We tried to figure out some reason to hire him but to no avail. Ultimately we wished him a very fond farewell.
Based on our experience, if you need an estate or probate attorney, you can't do better than Samuel Seun.

I give Mr. McDowell a 10 star rating. 5 is not anywhere near enough stars. He is professional and I have hired him twice now for custody issues against the same father. I have walked into court confident every single time with Mr. McDowell and he ALWAYS wins my case. You cant believe all ratings that you see posted here. Mr Ray Neighbors, for instance, he is a troll. No offense to him, but do your research. He seems to really hit hard on the legal system and judges. I saw his rating and it infuriated me. Mr. McDowell is by far the best attorney around!!

Several years ago, my mother hired Mr. Gatesman to do a Medicaid plan for my father who was entering a nursing home. When my father’s condition suddenly got worse, Mr. Gatesman quickly changed gears, and through his fast action, all of my parents’ assets ended up in a trust under my father’s will. When she needed to move into a retirement community, he came up with a way to secure a mortgage using trust assets to secure a loan on her residence, then converting it into a rental unit that provided my mother both income and secure support through trust assets. The trust allowed my mother to continue living as she always had been living, but when she too needed nursing home care, none of the assets in the trust had to be used to pay for her care. Mr. Gatesman then guided me through the baffling process of obtaining Medicaid benefits to pay my mother’s nursing home costs. This was a daunting journey, but his attention and direction to the actions that needed to be taken made the journey successful. With Mr. Gatesman’s guidance, my parents were able to preserve all of their assets, including their home. I am very pleased with Mr. Gatesman’s representation and I highly recommend his services to others.

Due to the untimely death of one relative, I was thrust into a dual position of Estate Administrator and Conservator of an elderly second relative.
