I'm giving a 5 star rating to the Burton Law Firm. From my paralegal Olivia Graziano, to my representing attorney Ryan D. Sarlo, and to Ken Burton, a very much appreciated thank you. You had a game plan going in, kept me informed every step of the way, and the representation was very professional. I was referred to the firm by an acquaintance, and I'm now going to also pass a referral to anyone in need of matters involving family law. Burton Law Firm looks out for father's rights! I'm pleased. Ken Burton is my attorney and without the excellent help he has given me I probably never would have seen my son again. Ken worked hard to bring to light how I was wronged and deserved to have my son in my life even though my ex had withheld him for nearly two years during my divorce and after my divorce. Today I received custody of my son because of Ken’s knowledge of the law and all of his help and advice navigating the waters of the law to overcome all of the orders my ex refused to follow. Today I am now able to have my son in my life where I can help him grow and develop into a great young man. Thank you Ken. Ken always takes the high road and honor and truth are things he values and because of this when he speaks judges and other attorneys know he speaks the truth. I wish I could have known Ken as just a friend instead of my attorney, because he is the type of guy that I want to be around and associated with. If you have a need for a family law attorney, Burton Law Firm will for sure help you and you should seek them out. You might have seen another 1 star review stating ‘Ken Burton never shuts up!!!’ Ken knows when to speak and how to read the court. The comments in that review were from my ex wife’s sister. It is sad someone would want to try to hurt Ken and his practice just because they are mad things did not go their way by reaching out with spite and malice. Her review is not true, just vengeful. It is sad there are people like that in the world.

Peter Bracken was the best! Very knowledgeable and articulate. He really helped me thru my divorce every step of the way. Update. After the divorce, my ex decided to not follow the divorce degree. Peter and Kate been great at getting the motion to enforce going. I've felt very comfortable with how this is going. I'll update again after court!

Where to start!? My husband and I originally started working with Michael Lundberg but Kenneth Burton took over our case after Micheal received another opportunity. While I could say great things about both attorneys, Ken Burton really WOWED us as did paralegal Amy. We also worked with support staff Kate and finance guy Darrin - everyone was professional, helpful and friendly. Originally seeking appropriate child support for my husband’s 2 children - his ex wife refused to provide her income (self employed) and retained an attorney herself in attempts to modify the divorce decree, seeking more parent time so her child support payment would not increase. These guys really went to bat for us and made sure it was clear that we weren’t willing to sacrifice any of our time with the kids and take from the stability the children had in our care for the last 8 years and made it clear that she couldn’t run from her child support obligations any longer. Ken sat through a long mediation session, in-person meetings with us, and answered our many questions via email and phone call. Always timely - we never felt any less important than his other cases. He was prepared for this to go to trial but made sure we knew it would be costly and a lengthy process. Luckily it was mediated and we got the results we had desired - increased child support without the loss of time (our residence is still primary) and only some minor tweaks on our end to make her feel like she was getting something out of it all. Ken was very open with us throughout and his appreciation for values was clear. After meeting him just once - I had an instant respect for him. He is level headed and blunt where blunt-ness is due. If we ever were to need any sort of legal representation again - Ken would be our first and only call. During the process my husband even referred to a co-worker to these guys - this just speaks to how great these guys were from start to finish. Having worked with a couple other attorneys in the Ogden area - if you are considering retaining these guys - do it. I worked with Marci for the past 2 years. She was amazing in making me feel confident in all of my decisions and not rushing anything. She was aggressive in court and helped me win my case. Ken Burton never shuts up!! He is happy to have you lie as he will lie himself and keep it going as long as you keep throwing money at him. It’s interesting watching him in court though… he can be quite intimidated by his client if he doesn’t keep the lies straight. I really hope karma catches up to him quick!
