I would highly recommend John Easton! John is very knowledgeable, patient and takes every clients needs as a priority. We had a very time sensitive case, John made it his priority and did exactly what he said he would do. His office is very responsive and helpful. Each time I called or emailed they were on it. John made it possible for my husband to have his freedom back. John is honest in all he does and says, he is also nonjudgmental. You will be in good hands without a doubt. Not Good, poor at responding

Deceptive and no Integrity Bottomline: Do not hire Will. Here's why: He told me on that first call that I would be in the "driver's seat", that sounded cool. However he failed to mention that the driver's seat was in a car with no gas, no steering, and no breaks. A total nightmare. After talking to different lawyers I hired William Nebeker over a year ago because he sounded the best. He excels at selling himself, he sounded so committed to winning my case and said how he could do it using legal speak. I was impressed but also concerned about a few bad reviews he had but his presentation won me over. My case was worked on slowly but steadily and then his assistant just ignored my follow up emails. When I finally decided to fire him four months later due to completly ignoring my emails, I emailed them to return my retainer balance. They then responded. He begged for another chance. I absolutely regret giving him another chance, along with the decision to hire him in the first place. I made myself explicit that I would only agree to continuing if there were no more huge delays and no more ignoring my emails. I had to threaten to end the agreement with Will again just five weeks later because the petition was not ready like he said it would be five weeks earlier. He had also promised that I would get to review the petition before it was filed but instead he filed it with a huge error that destroys the credibility of me and my case. He said he would amend it. Has he? No. He also told me that when I review the petition (which again never happened) to "not be worried if what it says is not 100% true." I knew right then this guy was shady. I also knew he could mislead me if he hadn't already. I felt a little sick to my stomach at that moment. I will never be able to get back the lost year of additional time with my children. I have recently filed a complaint against him with the Office of Professional Conduct at opcutah.org. I even left a voicemail that I was going to do so if I didn't hear from him soon, but he never has returned my calls or emails since April 15th. And I call once a week and leave a message or send an email but still no response. He has billed me a total of 17 hours in the last 13 months and all I have to show for it is a petition that was filed with a huge error. I now have his mess to clean up.

I hired Will after my daughter’s father did not Return my 4 year old daughter. He told he was going to file all this paperwork to get my daughter back. I have primary custody of my daughter and didn’t think it would be hard to get her back. I would call and email William and i would not hear back from him. After a full month of not seeing my daughter or evening hearing how she was doing i decided to call the court house to see if William had filed anything. He did 2 days prior to me calling but what he filed was rejected because he filed it completely wrong and just copied and pasted what i had emailed him. He waited a month to file anything. I would call and email his assistant to let her know i needed my daughter. I was so depressed and would cry everyday. I trusted him and he just took my money. After i called the court house i was so Distraught that i quit my job to go find another lawyer. I quit at 2:pm got a new lawyer at 3:00pm my new lawyer filed everything at 3:45pm and had my daughter back the same day at 7pm. It’s been a month and half and William will not refund my money. He keeps emailing me telling me he’s working on it but he’s not. Please don’t go for him for help. He will screw you over and take your money. He has caused me so much pain.

If anyone out there has had an unfortunate experience with the police and need legal assistance, John Easton should be your first call. He has helped me out several times and never fails to find a way to meet expectations. I have never had an attorney who works as hard as he does to prove innocence.
