I was in a car accident in Feb. 2017. I didn't want to hire an attorney but I needed to with the injuries I sustained. My family has had bad experiences with other not so known lawyers. So I decided to go with one of the big guys I've heard of on TV. Of course I was scared but after the first day we met I really felt like everything was going to be ok afterwards. I got to work with Stephen and Shelley, to be honest I couldn't have done any of this with out them. I had no insurance at the time, so they sent me to all the doctors I needed to see. This was truly the most difficult time in my life. But they helped me every step of the way. I am now finished with all the headaches and stress this accident put me through, as my case has finally been resolved! I can only thank Shelley and Steve for all the hard work they did! I would definitely recommend this firm, they truly do want to help you!

On July 22, 2018, I was doing 50mph down Van Winkle when someone ran a red light at 5600 South and I hit him. I spent a week in the hospital. I had a broken left humerus, an L3 vertebrae compression fracture, my knee was messed up (I'll still probably require surgery) and broke every rib 2-9 on both sides. Needless to say my first few weeks were hell. The second day in the hospital I lay there in not only pain, but complete and utter stress. I was out of work for 8-12 weeks without short term disability. I knew I needed a laywer. I knew of three main ones in Utah, Craig Swapp, Siegfried & Jensen and The advocates. It just happened that morning that an advertisement for Craig Swapp came in so I called them. That day Brad Anderson came out to talk to me. The first thing he did was point out that I wasn't completely financially screwed. My insurance company would pay $250/week in lost wages as well as $20/day for essential services. I had no idea and honestly I don't expect they would have volunteered that info. Did that cover my wages? Of course not. But between that and some help from the church we survived. Due to my financial stress I've been a pain in the butt customer for them. I bother them a lot. I ask a lot of questions, etc. However, they've always been so professional. The thing that really put into perspective how lucky I was with them, was when it was time to start physical therapy. I was already approaching $100k in hospital bills. My wife, due to a new job, had just gotten insurance. I called them to see how much physical therapy would be. They said it would be $35 copay after deductible. I almost laughed and said I blew through deductibles 2 months ago. Then she pointed out no this was new insurance and my heart dropped. It would be hard enough to pay $70/week. $160-$200/week was impossible. I figured I would just go and deal with it and let them bill me until they ran out of patience and I was sent to collections. That's when Brad stepped in. He found a physical therapist that not only would wait to bill me until I had a settlement, I visited him and he was better than the one I had seen one time. I literally left that first appointment in tears. I still haven't got a settlement. It's 6-9 months away and I have no idea how much it will be. But I know this. Craig Swapp, and specifically Brad and his paralegal Amanda will fight for every inch for me. They took one of the most horrible moments of my life and said don't stress. We have your back. Furthermore they've proven it every step so far. Even if my settlement doesn't appear (and believe me with all the evidence and so forth it will), I'm thankful they were on my team.

Being in an accident is such a horrible experience, but going to Craig Swapp and working with Brad and Amanda has been the silver lining in one of the worst times of my life. Fighting with insurance, waiting 4 months for my surgery, they were there working for me to get everything settled. They are so dedicated and knowledgeable. I’m pretty sure these reviews are false. My mother was in a car accident and we trusted this awful place. Not only was information kept from us, we are pretty sure the compensation we should have received was tampered with. This place should be your last call, that’s all.
