If you’re looking to make an informed decision about your legal representation, take a minute to hear my experience. I could write a novel about how awful this firm is, but for the sake of anyone discerning legal options, here’s just two things you should know: (1) I terminated my attorney-client relationship with Spiggle in March 2023, but the firm did not send me all of the lawyer’s correspondence on my behalf until December 2023, and even then only after I filed a complaint with the Virginia State Bar. As a client, you have a right to all of your lawyer’s communication in your case. I emailed the law firm multiple times since March, and I even went to their offices in person and spoke with them to lay out my complaints and ask for copies of the correspondence. Despite assuring me multiple times that they would forward me all emails, they did nothing until I filed a formal complaint. (2) After reading those parts of the lawyer’s correspondence that were, in fact, shared with me, it became clear that the lawyer misrepresented me and my needs in my case. He introduced language into my case that we had not discussed beforehand, and I did not find out about this until it was too late. Moreover, there were aspects of my case that he did not explain to me and that I had to research and discover on my own in the months after the fact. Of course, I could try to file suit against my lawyer for all of that, but that would involve hiring yet another attorney, spending even more money, and wasting precious time on a protracted and difficult lawsuit. It would be easier for me and my family to just cut my losses and move on. After my awful experience, I consulted with another attorney who told me I was the third person that month who told her about a negative experience with Spiggle. The representation I received was (to put it charitably) dreadful, and I ended up thousands of dollars poorer because of it. I would be in a demonstrably better position if I had never retained an attorney. Whatever brought you to search for a lawyer, I truly do send my heart out to you, and I pray you make a good decision.

Not the outcome that I hoped for. Had a great well documented case with recordings for discrimination and retaliation, with a good attorney. However be prepared to have deep pockets in order to get any type of remedy, or for this law firm to fight for you. Without an endless supply of money you will not be represented. As I was told if we go the EEOC route it would go well into 20,000k plus. What I ultimately paid for was the attorney and legal assistance time and a demand letter. All over $8,000 dollars. I worked for a slimy large unethical company, that chose not to budge. However this law firm does not consider employment loss and monetary loss as a factor when taking on cases for clients. At the end of the day they have to make money. Clients are unfortunately stuck in a position to either give up the fight for justice, or come up with money they don't have. There is no other option. I honestly can not recommend.
