Jon Oates was an amazing attorney to have. He was knowledgable and helpful through the whole process. He made great suggestions on how to improve the results of the case and answered all of my questions. I am so glad that he was able to represent me. I ended up with the best possible results and it is thanks to him.

I was referred to Mr. Oates by a friend who used him for a similar matter. When I contacted Jon, as he asked me to call him, he was extremely responsive. We met in person soon there after and I retained him because I felt like he was knowledgeable and competent in my issue. Throughout the waiting process, Mr. Oates was there to address my questions and concerns. The date of the trial, Mr. Oates was stellar. We prevailed on a challenging case. The court bailiff even came up to me at the end of trial and told me that I had a very good attorney and that I was blessed. I couldn't agree more!

Unfortunately I've had many dealings w/ Fairfax County Court System and anyone who has understands that knot in your gut when you enter the Courthouse. Jonathan exuded a quiet confidence from the minute we met that translated into "Don't worry ... I've got this" Clearly he was well prepared and from the way the judge greeted him I knew he was a well respected member of the legal community. Worth every penny !! Highly recommended.

Mr Oates was the best Lawyer I’ve ever had. His performance was literally perfect. Everything from the consultation to meeting in court made me feel nervous. Mr. Jonathan Oates was able to do what most lawyers were not able to remotely guarantee (and believe me when I say I consulted with many). Mr. Oates was able to make a deal with prosecutors to drop (nolle prosequi) all 4 possession of marijuana charges of mine. He has wide knowledge on laws and was very careful about my final disposition because of my immigration status.
