Mr. Kublan has earned my absolute highest rating for the OUTSTANDING job he did on my divorce and criminal trials. I found Mr. K here on Avvo and I can’t tell you how happy I am as a result. After telling my immigrant wife of 14 months I wanted a divorce, she had me arrested for an unwanted touch (which is assault and battery in the State of Virginia). I was innocent but my first lawyers were so inept that I was not found guilty, but there was sufficient evidence for a finding of guilt. I was flabbergasted that the female Fairfax County JDR Judge refused to consider my wife’s motives! Initially I accepted the first offender’s deal but after a few months, I couldn’t take the mental anguish of being a convict and fired my lawyers and hired Mr. K to appeal my case. While waiting for the appeal trial, Mr. K conducted a deposition of my wife where he asked extremely insightful questions. Mr. K was able to gain enough information to prove her lies and destroy her credibility. As a prime example of this, in my first trial, my wife testified that I raped her on the night I allegedly assaulted and battered her. My lawyers at the time did not ask her one single question about this accusation! During my appeal trial, Mr. K presented call detail records which showed that my wife was talking on an 81 minute call to a friend when I was allegedly raping her. He asked so many questions about the timing of the rape that my wife finally changed her story and admitted in court, in front of the jury, that there was no sexual contact that evening! This was nothing less than OUTSTANDING performance on the part of Mr. K!!! It took the jury 15 minutes to unanimously find me NOT GUILTY in December 2016. I had to find my wife so I could serve her with divorce papers, band Mr. K recommended the Professional Legal Resource Group in Fairfax. Within a week, they had found my wife, and also obtained evidence of Adultery! Mr. K then filed a Complaint on the grounds of Adultery and tried to use that as leverage for her to agree to an immediate no fault divorce. Again she declined. Mr. K then filed a massive Discovery request and focused on the items my wife was deficient on. My wife ended up going through 4 lawyers in attempting to respond to Mr. K’s Discovery and subsequent motions. Mr. K was awarded Court Orders for my wife to pay me $1,500 in lawyer fees with more payments possible. Mr. K also filed a Complaint for an Annulment which survived a Demurer. Again, in October I offered to drop both Complaints and file for a no-fault divorce. But once again my wife declined. (Clearly my wife isn’t very smart). At the divorce hearing in July 2017, Mr. K used his extensive experience and knowledge to get the PLRG reports admitted as evidence (there were 4 reports covering 1 year of surveillance). The opposing council did her best to get the reports rejected but Mr. K prevailed. In addition, Mr. K’s questions were so good, and the resulting PLRG response was so good, that we knew we would win Adultery. The opposing counsel thought so too, and consequently, Mr. K proposed a deal where I dropped the Annulment and my wife accepted the Adultery grounds! In addition, I have no spousal support payments, no payments in arrears (I stopped payments 6 months before the trial when I lost my job), no health insurance, retirement, or social security benefits sharing, and in fact, no past or future financial obligations of any kind!!! What an incredible lawyer Mr. Kublan is! I cannot describe how elated I am with Mr. K’s brilliant performance both inside and outside the courtroom. It was his expert knowledge of the right questions to ask, when to ask them, and how to use the legal processes and procedures available to him in order to achieve the desired results. I would also like to say that Mr. Kublan’s staff is simply wonderful! Alexandra was courteous, smart, efficient and professional and Cristina handled the finances and invoicing efficiently and politely.

I hired Andrei for divorce and child custody case and was pleased with how he handled the case. He and his staff is very approachable and professional, and communication was great during the whole process. I originally had a 30-minute free consultation with him where I learnt a lot about the process and he set reasonable expectations ( I had consultations with 3 other lawyers before meeting with him and they didn't deliver 10% of what he did yet they billed me). During the process, he set reasonable expectations and explained what the possibilities are, including how different judges look at he cases and what most probable outcome can be), as well as what the procedures are so I could be aware of what was happening (which I fund very helpful). I had a 2 years temporary green card from my wife but relationship did not work and we had get divorced. Many people told me that your green card will not be extended because of divorce with my wife. Thanks to this great lawyer and his professional staff my divorce case went well in the court and my green card was extended too !!!

I am very grateful to have found Andrei Kublan when I did: at the point of re-litigating child custody. Mr. Kublan works for the result. He knows how to build a case, how to collect the evidence, how to argue, and how to present it. And he also knows how to protect his client from overly-aggressive opposing bullies. About 6 months ago I needed legal representation regarding an immigration matter. I did some research, met a few lawyers in the area, and chose Andrei Kublan. I believe when it comes to legal representation, one must go with a lawyer that one feels comfortable with on a personal level. You can find plenty of good and experienced lawyers, but Andrei, on top of being an excellent attorney, is first and foremost a great person. Frankly, that is the quality that set him apart from others I had met. In my experience meeting many lawyers in the area, I almost always ended up feeling rushed in my conversations with them, I would invariably walk out of a meeting feeling dissatisfied and confused with many of my questions unanswered. What many lawyers (like doctors) do not understand sometimes is that what is a routine everyday matter for them is a big deal for the person sitting across the table. With Andrei I did not feel that way, he realized that I was considerably apprehensive, even scared, because of my situation. He patiently answered my questions, explained to me the minor details, and kept me in the loop through out the process. He understood my need to be aware of each and every step in the process, gave sincere advice, and did not snub me or cut me out when I asked unrelated (even silly) questions some times. I am sure he has a busy schedule, but whenever I entered his office he already had my file on his table, and I always found him to be very well prepared for our meetings. His staff is equally approachable and professional. Ms. Harrison is an intelligent, courteous, and hard working lady. Throughout my case, I never had to wait more than a few minutes to hear back on my emails/phone calls.
