Having completed our estate plan with Carrell Blanton Ferris & Assoc. a year ago, my husband and I had a few additional questions for clarification. Jon Osler, the new manager of the Fredericksburg office, overheard the call and graciously offered his thoughts and explanations right on the spot (no additional fees). What a refreshing customer experience and an example of true dedication to their clients.

My husband & I consulted with Jonathan Osler regarding our estate planning. Jonathan was kind, personable & did an excellent job helping us ensure that our assets go directly to our beneficiaries, rather than being tied up in probate. Jonathan had recommendations that you cannot find using "do it yourself" online sites like Nolo or LegalZoom. We were impressed with Johnathan's integrity & willingness to review our estate without trying to pressure us into unnecessary services. We look forward to using Jonathan as our family attorney, now, and in the future!

As if the death of a parent isn't hard enough, these people charge 1k JUST FOR A CONSULT! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

My husband & I went to an estate planning seminar hosted by Jonathan Osler in Jan 2020. It was very informative and led us to having him assist us in make a living trust. Jon gave us all the time we needed to explain our options and answer all questions. After just 2 long sessions, we are all set. I hardly recommend Carrell Blanton Ferris & Associates and especially Jon Osler. Our heirs will be very grateful.

Jonathan Osler impressed us considerably during our initial consultation to update our Wills. He reviewed our current documents and suggested language to make them more relevant to our needs and wishes. He spent a lot of time educating us about the importance of other estate planning documents, such as powers of attorney, advanced medical directives and HIPAA release documents. He also related that a recent law change in Virginia allows for Transfer on Death Deeds, enabling us to leave our home to our sons without them having to go through probate. Jonathan Osler is clearly well versed in estate law and planning. We are grateful for his legal services and, because of his highly skilled counsel, we now feel well prepared for our unknown yet inevitable future. Moreover, aside from his great legal advice, the cost for his service was reasonable as well. We highly recommend Jonathan Osler, his office and staff. Five well-deserved stars! My family and I are aging and as a single child, I felt it was imperative to have our wills and trusts established for peace of mind. Mr. Wall was exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of establishing family trusts, wills, advanced directives, and powers-of-attorney. all questions were answered in easily understood layman language and all questions were answered fully. His demeanor contributed significantly to a relaxed atmosphere between lawyer and client. We felt extremely confident that we had chosen the correct law firm.

After losing my husband, I needed help making sure my estate was in order. I shopped around for an estate planner for awhile before I came to Bennie at the recommendation of my financial planner. I was a little put back by Bennie's young age; however, I quickly realized that he is extremely knowledgeable. He outlined my estate and explained several different options I had to move forward. He pointed out issues that I would not have thought of. Thanks to Bennie, I was able to use my late husband's unused tax exemption that would have been lost if I had remarried prior to visiting Bennie. Bennie is very friendly and extremely patient. He made sure I understood how my whole estate plan would work. We had a prenuptial agreement and trust drafted. On the day I signed the trust, Bennie sat with me for nearly two hours talking me through the trust and answered all of my questions. It was truly a pleasure to work with this young man, which is more than I can say about most attorneys I've worked with in the past. He never felt pressured to move forward and I felt like Bennie really cared about making sure my estate was in order. I can assure you that you're in good hands with this bright, young man.

Bennie clearly outlined what we needed to do to update and restate our seventeen-year-old Trust documentation and guided us through the process. He was always available to answer questions and quickly responded to our requests.
