Easiest divorce ever. But in all honesty this place was great. Might be a little bit more expensive than another firm (i wouldn't really know, i didn't shop around much) but the made everything extremely simple, and spoke to me in a respectful manner. Nothing was difficult to understand and all in really had to do was sign a few papers when the time came. My mother recommended them because they helped her about 20 years ago or so and they helped me as well. Really appreciate everyone here.

I highly recommend the Daugherty Law Firm and more specifically Kate Daughtery. When I first began my divorce I had no idea what to expect and immediately after our first consultation I felt relieved to be able to hire Kate as my counsel. She was very knowledgeable of what to expect, what to do and how certain decisions will impact myself. Throughout the entire divorce which lasted almost twelve months, due to the separation timeline, Kate was extremely helpful and diligent from start to finish. I always felt that I was confident with her and that I wasn’t being misled or misinformed. When the final stages of the divorce were being discussed, this was one of the hardest parts of the divorce because as a man the laws are rarely in our favor for these types of situations. Kate was honest and negotiated what I believe was the best possible scenario for myself given the circumstances. In closing, divorce is not cheap and a decision not to take lightly. Kate and the Daugherty Law Firm are worth every dollar and are the type of professionals you dream of when having to deal with such an important life event.

Kimberly Luckey was extremely knowledgeable and supportive during a trying time with my family. She was always available to answer any questions I may have had and was patient in explaining so that the answers were clear. Although I hope to never need her again, she would be my #1 choice.

While original review there was some issue with service. Once my complaint to the firm, and review were posted. I was contacted and the firm has agreed to make matter right. Individuals may have bad days, but the firm has made assurances to make matters right and correct.

Mike Daugherty is responsive, sharp, and knows how to handle business. If you find yourself needing legal advice and/or representation, he's your man. DO NOT hesitate, pick up the phone and call Mike.

I cant recommend Mike Daugherty enough. I had no idea how to deal with my issue. I was completely overwhelmed and I'm so happy that we contacted Mike. He examined every detail and aggressively defended me in court where we won. I want to include Kim Luckey in this review as well. As all this was going on we wound up in the middle of a dispute involving my daughter's safety so we contacted The Daugherty law firm and Kim responded amazingly winning that case as well. If you want the best, Kate and the Daugherty Law Firm is the best. I hired Kate Daugherty as my divorce attorney in the Spring of 2019 once I knew my ex-husband and I would not come to terms. I can't say enough about Kate and the staff there at the firm who supported her, as she skillfully won my divorce and custody case for me. Kate is very savvy, really knows the law, is organized and detail-oriented (which is IMPERATIVE in winning your case), and fantastic at litigation in the court room. She never ceased to amaze me with her skill and confidence while questioning my ex and fighting for evidence to be permitted, which was integral to my custody case. My divorce ended up being double the cost of her estimate; however, it was not her fault. My ex dragged me through court over numerous, ridiculous show causes. Kate was able to get each and every one of the show causes against me dismissed, and the Judge found my ex in contempt on numerous show causes, thanks to Kate’s tenacity and legal prowess. Due to the incredible amount of show causes during my two-year divorce battle, Kate fought for attorney’s fees for me, and the Judge awarded me approximately 21% back in fees. This was a huge load lifted as a newly single mom on one income with an ex who was refusing to pay child support. When it made sense to do so, Kate would attend court on my behalf, so I would not have to appear due to family and work obligations, and she was very communicative as to the results. I referred my friend to Kate who also hired her and was pleased with the results. I would never want to step foot into a court room without Kate by my side. I trust her, and I know she has my best interests in mind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Honorable mention to her father Don who assisted me while Kate was out on maternity leave and Sam, one of the firm’s dedicated paralegals.

Good attorney I recommend always he is very responsibility I called Don Daugherty seven years after using him in a custody case he helped me today on an unrelated matter and did it as a courtesy to me as a farmer client, he is really a good man and attorney and I appreciate his help and recommend him to everyone

If you're Googling around to find a good lawyer, stop right here and call these people! I usually don't write reviews, but I was so impressed by this law firm that I had to. David helped me with a case that I was almost 100% certain that I was going to get a terrible outcome but somehow he pulled through and worked hard towards a more favorable one. I really liked how professional but also how realistic he was when it came to expectations. I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for him, I would be in a very messy situation. Moving forward, I'll make sure to recommend any friends and family to this firm.
