I was facing a charge of Domestic Violence in Prince William County. Any conviction whatsoever in a case like this meant, not only criminal penalties, but in my case also the end of my job and being barred from ever hold a position in my career field again. Every bit of my 23 years of experience was about to become worthless and I was going to lose everything I ever worked for. Then I talked to Steve. He wasn't the cheapest around but is a criminal trial the time to go shopping for the cheapest attorney you can find? Steve was worth every penny. Other criminal attorneys that I knew, and that knew the facts of the case, said I need to take a plea and there was no chance of winning this case. But Steve knew that for me, a plea was just as bad. He formulated a strategy, knew the legal landscape of the area (a rare and critical skill for your attorney to have), and delivered. In a big way. Steve got the charges completely dismissed. I still cannot believe it. God forbid I should ever get in trouble again but, if I do, Steve is my first call. I wholeheartedly recommend that if you have to step up to the plate with the Prince William County legal system, trust Steve Duckett to swing the bat.

If you need a very good attorney that will truly work hard for the best possible outcome, Hire Steve Duckett. My case was not as interesting as some of the others I see in the reviews. I was charged with RD and there was no chance of getting it dismissed because my recent driving record wasn't pretty. I knew that and Steve agreed. The best I could hope for was a reduction to simple speeding. Steve told me the things I needed to do before my court date that would give him the best chance to negotiate a reduced charge. On the day of my hearing Steve took care of business and got the charges reduced. I don't really think that my case was much of a challenge for an attorney of Steve Duckett's caliber but he attended to it as if it were his most important case. My brief experience , being represented by Mr. Duckett provided me with great assurance that if I ever need a really good attorney or if a friend or family member asks me if I know a good attorney. Great job helping me contest speeding charges in P.W. County Court. Steve advised me regarding steps in advance of my court date that could favorably affect the outcome. These took my current driving record and the severity of the violation into account. I followed his advice and charges were dismissed.

I spoke to numerous lawyers but Mr. Duckett was the most professional, honest with expectations, costs and options. In the end, he actually was able to get the entire case dismissed! I would strongly recommend him and feel I owe that to others who've been through the ringer or just need a great lawyer at a reasonable cost.
