We used Dan to update our wills, trusts and other documents after moving and becoming empty nesters. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable, but most important down to earth. We immediately felt at easy using him and his firm, and felt we made the right decision.

I asked Dan to set up a fairly straightforward trust for me. I expected a few pages in a standard format such as you might find from a home software program. Instead he gave me a 3 inch binder containing the trust, a will, medical power of attorney, and several other legal instruments I never knew I needed. Each one seemed well crafted and complete, and he took the time to go through everything with me. I have no hesitation recommending him!

Because our estate planning documents had been prepared many years ago when laws and the economic situation in our family was quite different, I asked Dan to update my entire package. He was very attentive and gave good advice. The documents he and the staff prepared for me are very well done.

Mr. Gasink assisted me with a probate planning issue after I moved to Virginia. He was thorough and efficient and is clearly very knowledgeable. He knew what needed to be done to accomplish my goals in a direct way, so that my real estate is properly transferred upon my death, without unnecessary work. I am a retired tax attorney and was referred to Dan Gasink in 2013 by our financial planner. My wife and I had moved to Williamsburg, and we wanted to makes sure our legal documents were appropriate under Virginia law. Dan and his team prepared a revocable trust, a will, durable and healthcare powers of attorney and HIPAA documents for my wife and me. Over the years he has notified us of law changes and updated our documents for those and for changes in our family. He is very competent and understandable and I recommend him highly.

Spencer Baxter is a lovely person as well as a great attorney. My husband and I felt very comfortable working with him to set up our estate. He is warm and caring but is quick to provide honest answers. We enjoyed working with him and feel that he will be there for us in the future should we need his advice.

I was referred to Daniel's firm by my financial advisor. I was told we'd conduct an initial virtual interview (since Dan's firm is over 2 hours away) and follow up signing session in person at my financial advisor's office. Everything went off as planned. Great virtual explanation of the process and in depth questions about what I was looking for in a will and living trust. I received the draft in plenty of time to review prior to the signing session. Had no corrections to make - 100% what I expected/asked for. I will definitely use this law firm for any future estate planning needs.
