Nathan is very knowledgeable, patient and empathetic. He took the time to understand my case and very quickly came up with a plan of action and dealt with my case very efficiently. He was absolutely non-judgmental which is so hard to find. I always felt that he was on my side and will do the best for me. All in all, he helped me when I thought my situation was hopeless and got me a divorce with a result that I didn't think was possible. Thanks Nathan!

Without going into too much detail, I will say that Nathan was wonderful to work with through a very difficult time. Over multiple engagements spanning a year, he was thoughtful, considerate, and always took the time to explain both the WHAT and the WHY of the situation and his recommendation. I trusted him to represent my best interests and we were able to walk away with the right solution to a difficult problem. Along the way, Nathan demonstrated genuine care and concern for me and my kids, and I will always appreciate that. No one wants a lawyer, but if you have to have one, he's the guy!

Before filing for divorce, I spoke with about a dozen attorneys in the area. I felt like some said what they thought I wanted to hear, while others seemed almost disinterested. After narrowing it down to a few, I chose Michelle Danley from Seattle Divorce Services because I felt like she was an excellent listener, and gave me her unbiased thoughts instead of saying things to land a new client. I myself am a licensed attorney, and while I am not an expert in family law, I felt that her work could not have been better. I think that there are many types of family law attorneys out there. There are some who will guide you and make decisions for you (with your consent) if you are not in a good state of mind to decide. There are others who will do what you ask even when that may not be in your best interest. Michelle is someone who will tell you what she thinks, and will discuss the options with you. She is willing to make recommendations as well, but ultimately, she will inform you as best she can then will leave it up to you to decide. That is exactly what I was looking for, and if it is what you need, you may want to consider talking to her. I could not recommend her more highly.

If every family law attorney was as professional and forthright as Nathan, I think more families would come out of the divorce process with less hostility and a better foundation for peaceful collaboration going forward.
