Leslie and her team were extremely helpful with my divorce process, and helping my family members with their own legal needs. Thank you for everything.

I sought legal advice from Leslie recently, and was very pleased. She was sympathetic to the loss of my parents, which put me at ease. Her advice was clear and easy to understand. I felt I had all my questions answered and a plan to move forward. I recommend Leslie!

Leslie is extremely knowledgeable kind and compassionate. As someone who works directly in elder care, I know the importance of these qualities and highly recommend her.

Leslie Bottimore and her team are professional, knowledgeable, thorough and courteous. They listened to and answered all of our questions. They delivered a comprehensive estate planning solution including all legal documents and detailed recommendations based on our specific circumstances. They prepared a complete set of legal documents that included our wills, trust, powers of attorney, health care directives and other relevant documents. Their fees were fair and reasonable, especially given the extent of services provided. I highly recommend Bottimore & Associates.

I was scared and felt like I am a victim of a person issued a restraining order against me, it was my first time ever that someone claimed I am going to harm him!! I was confused and doesn't know what I have to do. One of my friends referred me to Attorney Leslie Bottimore, she was willing to help even my case was in Oregon. she turned my statement into a declaration and referred me to a good attorney in Oregon, this was very helpful to my attorney to understand the case, as well, she kept in touch with me for updates. this was kind of her, it was a big support from her, and I really appreciate all what she did. today I won the case. and i want to say: THANK YOU SO MUCH LESLIE

The communication between the paralegals and attorneys is lacking. Non responsive to emails and phone calls. Their website says payment arrangements are available which is what I had to do after giving them $6,000 for trust funds. Each week $400-$500 went to them. Now they just dropped me 3 weeks before court. Highly unprofessional! Do not bother going to them, they are not there for you!

Update: I submitted a grievance to the WSBA and it took 3 years for them to fully review my case. Conclusions: they voted 3-0 for the case to go to a public hearing due to 1. Failure to safeguard client funds 2. Delayed billing 3. Falsified billing/conversion/charging unreasonable fees 4. Disclosure of confidential information. It was stated that she disclosed my confidential information to the BBB, caused me financial harm by falsely billing me and charging unreasonable fees, acted knowingly in regards to delayed billing, and used libel against me multiple times. Additional aggravating factors identified in ABA Standard 9.22 listed as potentially being raised: 1. Dishonest or selfish motive 2. Multiple offenses 3. Submission of false evidence, false statements, or other deceptive practices during the disciplinary process 4. Refusal to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct 5. Substantial experience in the practice of law. This case took a huge toll on my mental health due to constantly responding to false statements Leslie made about my case and about myself as a person/mother to try to make me look bad. She attacked me by saying things such as I was an uninterested mother who didn't want custody of my kids (which is literally why I hired her...!). She said these things to the disciplinary counsel and to the BBB. I hope the effort I went through to get to this point isn't in vain and that people will know what she has done and how she treats her clients. (Also: my review was removed or hidden for the past 3 years with no explanation. Why remove my review if you have nothing to hide?) Original review: I hired Leslie in Jan. 2020. My first impression was not good - she spoke highly of my first attorney (after I told her he screwed me out of getting custody), she defended my ex's decision re: my child's mental health, she gave her opinion on my child's mental health, she continually interrupted me right after asking questions and wouldn't let me answer. I went against my better judgment due to all the "good" (fake) reviews she has. The communication was horrible. I had to wait weeks to get a response and my last email to Leslie was read and billed for, but never responded to. I never received any financial statements during the 6-7 months that she was supposedly working for me, just a final bill in the mail.  No one would tell me how much was left of my retainer despite asking numerous times. I decided to terminate our contract in June and talked to her paralegal, Michelle, who was in charge of accounting at that time.  I asked her about my retainer and she told me "not much had been used". Michelle then gave me unsolicited legal advice, which I reluctantly decided to go along with since I didn't know at the time that it's ILLEGAL for paralegals to do this.  I realized this a week later and called to terminate again, except this time I had experienced emotional distress due to Michelle getting my hopes up about getting more custody.  I called multiple times over two weeks and was told I'd get a call back.  I didn't.  I emailed Leslie to tell her the situation and that her paralegals shouldn't be doing this since I wasn't sure if she knew.  She defended Michelle throughout several emails and kept gaslighting me by telling me Michelle didn't give me legal advice and kept making up other lies to try to cover up their other "mistakes". Then my check came in the mail and I realized she had been charging me for very questionable things.  $225 to review the mediation process, $450 for drafts (I had no knowledge of this existing/never received copies), $975 for 3 occasions of them reviewing my binder and unfinished statement, and $75 for reading my email and then not responding. I was charged just under $3,200 for basically nothing. My retainer was $3,500.  This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had with an any service I've ever paid for.

Do not trust them to do what's right for your case. What a complete disappointment and waste of money they told me they would refund me, but never did. Crooks. Despite your response, I stand by my statement. Worst representation, ever.

I had such a strange experience just trying to connect with this firm. First I reached out through a reputable source AVOO. I didn't Google. They returned my callednanfew days later. Took some info. Promised a "complimentary case evaluation" with their attorneys. Instead I got a call back from the same robotic person who kept calling me Mr Rachel, it was weird. It was triggering too as she demanded to know exactly how and why my DV case would be worthy. I had explained it, their was info explained in the original intake call. It was jarring. Then she said she'd pass it on and call back if they wanted to call back and take the case. So who was I actually speaking with? Never a legal team. Who has my info? Who is the person calling me Mr on the other side of the line making promises. I advised on the second call I wouldn't hire them given their lack of transparency and smokescreen. She still called today to tell me they couldn't handle my case. It's laughable. It's also unethical and speaks to the validation of other poor reviews here on Google, the BBB and business practices. The smokescreen did me a favor and I dodged this Trainwreck! Run quickly. Katia will falsely promise on behalf and robotically not deliver, it's unclear where she is, but it is clear she's working with home given the screaming child in the background. No shame in that, but not what one expects in calling a high price "bull dog" attorney. Laughable. $13,500 retainer for what?
