This is a real review by a real customer. There are lawyers, and then there is Alan Harvey. After talking with 9 different criminal lawyers in Vancouver WA and Cowlitz County, I hired Alan. I needed a well qualified lawyer to help me dimiss a completely bogus "anti-harassment order'" filed v. me by a man with a criminal background, who in fact commited extortion v. my company, seriously libeled my company on numerous occasions, and totally harassed me and my staff and several of my customers. Here is why I hired Alan Harvey: 1. Experience: Alan has 20 + years experience in criminal law in Vancouver. His firm, Northwest Legal Advocates, is a group of 4 ex-prosecutors with about 110 years of combined experience in felony criminal law. 2. Knowledge: Most lawyers with whom I spoke were terribly uninformed of the law pertaining to protective orders. Alan had an immediate grasp of the law pertaining to my issue. 3. Superb Strategy: Not only did Alan quickly establish how to defend a [bogus] order which was filed, he had a multi-layered plan of attack. If plan "A" failed, he already had plan B, and plan C, etc, prior to appearing in Court. No other criminal defense lawyer in southwest WA approached this matter in this way, in such a well thought-out fashion. 4. Integrity: I am usually not one to discuss integrity, but in Alans' case, I must. Integrity is defined as "soundness of moral character; honesty." Alan could have charged me much more than he did. His fees were extremely competitive. He actually CARED about the outcome of this matter. Alan has actual integrity. 5. Responsiveness: Not for a second, did I ever wonder what was going on with my former case. Alan kept me constantly apprised. After spending 6 (six) weeks interviewing lawyers, I hired Alan, after firing another lawyer whom I had mistakenly retained. I truly wish I had been fortunate enough to have sought out Alan Harvey back in July 2017, instead of wasting many hours talking with other lawyers. Unlike every other lawyer with whom I spoke, Alan instantly spotted several fatal procedural flaws in the filing v. me. We never even had to try the merits of the petition filed v. me, which were simply a stack of perjurious lies by the petitioner. The protective order for [alleged] "anti-harassment" was dismissed within 30 minutes of Alan appearing at my hearing. Given that Northwest Legal Advocates ( htttp://www.NWLAdvocates.com ) are also experienced civil litigation and labor law attorneys in Clark county and surrounding counties in southwest WA, I intend to benefit from their years of experience for other legal matters. An extremely smart, honest and innovative lawyer is a real challenge to find. I found one in Alan Harvey. Here is my message: if you are lucky enough to talk with Alan Harvey, hire him. You will be unable to find a more brilliant and honest legal stategist, than this man.

I recently was a member of a jury for a case in which Todd Pascoe represented the defendant. I was very impressed with his obvious investment in his client, and thorough work on the case. Todd presented a clear, sincere and compelling case for his client, whom those of us on the jury found to be not guilty. I Mr. Pascoe that going into the defense portion of the trial, I had not expected to come to the conclusion of innocence that I did--but it became clear through his defense that this was the verdict I --and the entire jury felt, that the State had not proven their case. I think Todd invested a great deal of work and commitment to his client, and I would expect he would serve any client as well.

Self defense is not to be taken lightly when you are forced to use it. So many things can go wrong you dont expect to, that you have no control over while trying to defend yourself from the ones that have no respect for themselves or anyone else. When life threatening choices are to be made in an instant, and you do everything right you believe is right to protect yourself with a firearm, you better be prepaired for the biggest legal fight of your life! Because you will go to jail if you are your only witness to self defense. If that happens, i will tell you right now that Todd Pascoe is the attorney that will fight for your freedom and your innocense, and will prove to that jury the actions and force you were forced to use were justifiable. His very thourough and detailed team of investigators will prove your honesty and truth about what happened. If you are telling the truth, the truth will be reveiled and told. I was aquited on all charges with unanimous NOT GUILTY verdicts from all 12 Jurors yesterday!! The truth prevails!! Thank you God, Todd Pascoe, and to the Jury, for the Justice i deserved, and for my life back!! Todd Pascoe is the Man!! God bless Todd Pascoe!!

I hired Alan to represent me I an unemployment matter. I thought it would be difficult but Alan saw straight through to the facts. I felt that he had a keen grasp of the circumstances, he presented the case to the judge in a very professional manner and we won!
