I recently hired him to represent me in an employment hearing. Alan met with me a couple of times prior to the hearing to prepare me on what to expect. Alan is professional, knowledgeable and good natured with a bit of humor added. He included me in the entire process and he made me feel comfortable with this stressful situation by educating me, not by telling me what he is going to do as I've had that experience with other lawyers in the past. When it came down to the hearing Alan delivered. He took control of the hearing and used his expertise to win. I was extremely happy with him and his performance handling my case. I worked for a prominent employer in the Vancouver area and would have not won my case without him. Yes that's right we won!! Couldn't be happier with the outcome. I endorse this fine attorney for the excellent work he performed in representing me in traffic court. I had been pulled over by a state trooper for switching lanes in excess of the velocity permitted by law. I was only 17 at the time and I really had no idea what to do. I was extremely concerned about my insurance, as well as the surmounting problems that I would inevitably suffer from due to an unsightly blotch on my driving record. Alan Harvey really pulled me through this ordeal in a professional, precise and personable manner. He didn't waste my time nor his own and was very direct in divulging every detail about his process and what would be the best move to make. Suffice to say I felt informed and thus prepared going into traffic court for the scheduled appearance date. Ultimately I got off without any problem as he established that from the onramp I used to the I-500 bridge where I pulled over there was more that enough time to safely and legally switch lanes.
