Excellent people, great elder law and estate planning skills

I have tried to work with this group for a year. As first it went well but then it devolved into a paranoid delusional state- truely. They cannot communicate via e-mail for fear of compromise. They don't return phone calls. A large retainer paid and no deliverable. - avoid these people.

I have worked with several lawyers in the area and I am disappointed with this one. Promised timelines were not adhered to, misinformation was given, after 4 months a bill has yet to be provided. My actual lawyer will not contact me back; I'm not even confident she has received message from my 5 calls leaving complaints and asking for information. When someone passes away, a final report should not create so much stress. I felt like this company does not care about their clients which is not what they advertise. Individuals who answer the phone are always professional and polite which was refreshing, however, the work was extremely delayed with no valid explanation. I was told I was a priority and that they were working extremely hard behind the scene; yet it was only 10 hours of total work. When I finally received a draft the report was sloppy and I had to correct spelling errors with names. They were supposed to take steps to remove a bond which was costing my grandma money and yet I had to contact the company and court for them to pull the report from the docket to get the bond removed. For the cost I would have expected more professional service or at least a call from my lawyer. Again, very disappointed and will never use again. As of now I am still waiting for my bill....

Very caring kind and direct in time of need, staff very friendly and accommodating overall very efficient and too the point.

My husband and I had a number of recommendations for an estate attorney. I made some phone calls and spoke with a number of people. After briefly speaking with Beckie, we knew we had the right girl. We got an appointment in a timely manner and began to put together the plan we desired. Becky is wonderful at communication! She explained everything as we went along and explained again when she saw the sometimes dumbstruck looks on our faces. We had a few complicated requests and Beckie had some great suggestions. We found that it was easy for all of us to communicate with email and sometimes the phone because my husband and I do quite a bit of traveling. I will recomend Beckie Pettis to my colleagues and friends because she is so very proficient in her field.

My biggest issue was communication! Many instances of telephone calls and e-mails not being returned. Never felt I had the full attention paid to my issues! Receives a C- if graded!
