Toby Kinsler of Sterling Law Offices truly brought humanity and kindness to my image of the collective group of people we call "lawyers." From the very start Attorney Kinsler listened to what brought me and my wife to seek a divorce, and how we wanted it amicably handled. Toby not only heard what we were saying, but was moved to be handling a divorce for two people who still had and wanted to maintain respect for each other. He acknowledged that that was not the way most divorces go! He was compassionate, communicative, and expeditious in his handling of things, and to the very end of our court hearing consistently let us know what a pleasure it was to work with us. Toby was fantastic! He was always on top of things and was there whenever I needed him. At the beginning of my divorce I had never felt so scared, alone and unsure of my future. Sitting in the office of Sterling Law all I could do was stare at the floor wondering what was going to happen to my children and myself. I met with Toby that afternoon for my initial consultation and I can honestly say I walked out feeling a bit better. Derek Allen went above and beyond throughout the entire process, he answered all of my questions promptly, even calling at 5:30 a.m. when he knew that was the only time I could talk. I felt comfortable asking him to explain something again if I didn't understand and I never felt like we had to rush through meetings because we were on a "clock". The flat fee system that is used is a great way to go through this, everything is up front and very fair. Tristan also stepped up and helped with my divorce. She is a wonderful person to work with and treats people like they should be treated, with respect. I saw both sides of the spectrum during my divorce, the people at Sterling Law Office who are professional, caring and a true class act...and my ex wife's attorney who I felt was an embarrassment to herself.
