Due to a personal injury, a friend recommended the law firm of Apolinsky & Associates, LLC. His recommendation was so positive that I contacted Mr. Apolinsky right away. After several phone conversations, I was sure that I had the right firm to handle my case. Steve Apolinsky was a true professional in every way. He briefed us on what to possibly expect, and it was 'spot-on.’ We couldn't have asked for any better treatment. I hope I never have to endure a situation like this again, but , if I do, my first call will be to Apolinsky & Associates, LLC.

I became an actual client of Stephen Appolinsky by means of another attorney who sought out someone with expertise in wrongful death cases. I am so grateful to my first great attorney for referring me to another great attorney at the most difficult time of my life. My 19 year old vivacious firstborn daughter took her own life just hours after being released from the hospital. She had been taken to the hospital by ambulance after the police were called on her for attempting to harm herself. After being evaluated, the hospital released my daughter after several hours. My lawyer, Steve, agreed that there was a measure of negligence and diligently addressed all of my concerns. He personally flew out to Michigan and met with me and many of my family and friends to collect interviews to help strengthen my case. Personal touches such as these coupled with his kind but professional demeanor made me feel as though being his client was a huge blessing. I feel as though I cannot begin to express how happy and satisfied I truly am. As an out-of-state client, Steve kept me abreast and included on all pertinent matters concerning my case. I went to Apolinsky and associates not even knowing if I had a case when my daughter was murdered at an apartment complex. Steve and his entire staff showed me such caring and support throughout the process. They made our family feel like they were their family. I was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident (in 2019) that was not my fault. My first attorney did not have any experience litigating motorcycle cases. He was slow to move on the case and was not looking at all options in terms of recompense. After several months of inaction, I handed my case to Allen who, from the very first call, made it clear that he was familiar with how to litigate motorcycle cases - he also rides - and identified ways in which we could achieve a better settlement than just the liability coverage of the other driver which covered less than 25% of my medical expenses. Over the course of the next 9 months, Allen did a great job representing me. He was quick to respond to my requests for updates and patient with me when I asked how the process works. (This was my first time pursuing a civil case.) Through his efforts we were able to settle the case without having to go to trial. I am content with the settlement amount and know that I would not have got anywhere close to this had I stayed with the attorney I had originally hired. If you've been in a motorcycle accident, given Allen a call. He definitely knows what he is doing. Thank you Allen and Dale (Allen's paralegal) for all your time, attention and support. I hope not to need your services again, but if I find myself in a similar situation, I will definitely call.

Mr Devoogd did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job from start to finish in handling my case. From the initial consultation to once it came to court, Mr Devoogd was professional, competent, and thorough with his communication of potential outcomes, with details of each and direction on which option would be the most beneficial. Mr. Googasian helped assist me with my Class Action against Sallie Mae. Him and the rest of his staff were very approachable and were able to answer whatever questions I had. Mr. Googasian fought tooth and nail during my arbitration and in the end was able to get a judgement in my favor. Mr. Googasian and his team represented the students of Computer Training.com in a class action lawsuit (Smith vs. Computer Training.com) after the school closed its doors, failing to keep it's promise of lifetime job placement. I've never been personally involved with a legal case and was very hesitant to trust and believe a lawyer could help my situation. To my surprise the firm was very responsive and Dean himself would get involved via phone or email follow-ups since we live in different states. I interviewed two lawyers after fracturing my shoulder to help determine if I should pursue a personal injury claim. Professional, kind and reassuring was CB Hallen who took the case. We met at his office, a beautiful location in Cardiff, and signed off to proceed. The initial value Brad provided was a formal letter detailing what to expect during the process, and the timelines. Brad will also accomodate virtual meetings, conveniently alleviating the commute to his office - although my preference was to interact directly. The process is long with elements of vulnerability, however Brad always remained available to answer questions. He exudes patience, kindness, diligence, and is extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. This is very reassuring to those unfamiliar with the law surrounding personal injury issues. The case settled with a favorable outcome. I felt so grateful we persevered and definitely cherish having had the opportunity to work with CB Hallen. He is an esteemed professional who lends quality and finesse to the experience.

Tough means many things...emotionally strong and hard to influence, being determined....refusing to quit..you know, ...what you need to win. A real quality that seems to be lost in this day and age for people. Mr. Ben and his staff took the time to explain to me what may or may not happen in my son's case. Never once did they "tell me what I wanted to hear" they were honest and clear and never made any promises. They actually took the time to call on numerous occasions to see how he was doing and to make sure he was feeling better as time went by. It was refreshing to know we were more than a case number or a dollar amount. I was involved in a serious auto accident where the other driver was at fault. When I tried to handle the claim on my own, the other driver's insurance started playing games with me. I hired Lance and within a week the other insurance company accepted 100% of the liability. Throughout the next several months Lance worked with the insurance and my medical providers to get me a very fair settlement. Lance and his entire office were professional and effecient. I got rear ended as I was sitting at a red light by someone who fell asleep behind the wheel. It was my first accident and I was pretty rattled. Since the accident wasn't my fault, my attorney, Lance Rupp was able to get me treated and I was compensated as well. It is really important to document everything if you are in an accident and definitely use an attorney. I would definitely use this law firm again.

Spencer Pahlke of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Shchoenbeger is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. It is as simple as that. Do yourself a favor and hand all of the legal stuff to Spencer. Don't worry about anything he or his excellent staff does. I guarantee you he will make the best out of any rough situation both legally and financially. Spencer is trustworthy. Even someone else with a bad previous lawyer experience (For example another person who had to decide between their two parents as a child and lost half their family because of another unfortunate past lawyer experience) could trust Spencer. Lastly, if you are not lucky enough to get Spencer, I am pretty sure you will also be in good hands with one of his other legal colleagues at the Walkup firm. Although I do not have any direct experience with the other lawyers there, I think Spencer (being a partner at the firm) prefers to work with good people and an excellent staff.

Spencer did a tremendous job representing me. I was hit by a car as I waited at a stoplight on my bicycle, and sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. This injury has affected my life in my life in countless ways. The legal system is byzantine and often bewildering, but Spencer patiently and clearly explained what was happening in my case, and was available and supportive throughout the process. He worked untiringly for me, and as a result he achieved the best possible settlement. I can’t recommend Spencer enough.

Spencer represented me after I fell and broke my ankle in a nail salon. My injuries required surgery and I was out of work for over 2 months. Cheryl was referred to me by another attorney for dealing with some unemployment and medical board related issues I was facing. I contacted her while she was apparently on vacation, but she responded to me right away. I spoke to Cheryl over the phone and she was very patient in listening to the specifics of my case and and was thoughtful in her response. I consigned a vintage car in an action. It sold. The auction house delayed paying me the hammer price. When I enquired about the delay they told me the buyer was disputing the provenance of the car. At that point I hired Cheryl Ruggerio to negotiate on my behalf. She was very thorough and quick to understand all the documentation I presented her with and was able to research and fill in all the gaps providing the auction house with indisputable evidence of the cars long history. She presented the new found information and documentation to the auction house and negotiated a settlement to the agreement of all concerned parties. I felt compelled to write this review! I want anyone in the state of California looking for an injury lawyer to be so BLESSED to have this firm stand behind them! I urge you to stop looking. You're going to waste your time anywhere else. Sure, everybody says that in reviews when they are happy with a company. I'm not just happy. I feel like I had my own family fighting for me and they wanted my suffering to stop. Most firms and lawyers are a bunch of hot air and lots of ego!! Let's face it. But when you have a lawyer go above and beyond to make you feel cared about and like you are family, then you want only the same for others. Mr. Sherwin Arzani was more than my lawyer, he was on my side and wasn't settling no matter what. I never felt rushed and I could tell he genuinely cared about me from his hard work, phone calls and keeping me completely informed of everything going on. I was in a very severe accident. A man on his phone, driving towards a backed up off ramp, did not stop and was going 60+ mph blindly hit me from behind without breaks!! I was at a complete standstill. He did not care to help me and took off from the scene. I tried having friends and family talk to the insurance company and saw extremely quickly that I needed an attorney. They wouldn't give me information like what my benefits were. So I looked up Citywide Law and that was the start of my road to recovery. From the day I called, I felt nothing but compassion and understanding from the entire office. I had to wait 2 days to call them as the whiplash locked my jaw shut!! They took the frustration and headache of dealing with the insurance company off my hands that day, right then and there. I knew without a shadow of a doubt they could be trusted to take this on for me. Their kindness, as well as, professionalism are OUTSTANDING!! I had to immediately begin seeing doctors. They made all my appointments. I was thoroughly taken care of by their professionals. As I was not getting better with the treatments, I was sent out for further testing. We found I have lifelong permanent injuries. Mr. Arzani called me to discuss what to do and he was clear, thorough, and professional. From the news of my injuries I was very saddened that I will have this for the rest of my life. We were on the phone and he listened to me express my pain. Not just physical pain but the suffering that has come from this man stealing my life from me.....I can handle pain. I can handle suffering, but when you can't play with your kids anymore like you could before you feel a huge sense of loss and he was very supportive. Yes!!!! I said Mr. Arzani was supportive and there for me like a good friend would be. I urge and implore you to give yourself the best odds at winning your settlement with this firm. I know you will not be unhappy with the results..... Mr. Arzani fought and won my maximum benefits. I was the victim of a real estate fraud, and Mr. Arzani's firm was able to reverse the fraudulent transaction and get my name back on title. The best part was that I even got some of my legal fees back from the other side when we settled the case.

They took my case because they said it was" the right thing to do. " I didnt know what to expect from a case like this. You can read her diligence in this case in her exceptions to the court at Florida Department of Administrative Hearings by searching her name. This case was taken to the 1dca. We were the prevailing party. You can watch that court proceeding at 1dca and again,search her name. Ms. Sharon Proctor esq. The appealate attorneyand Jenna handled the case. What a team. I could say a lot of nice things about the two but the proof of her qualifications are in the case. Ive seen reviews that were simply a bunch of lies or perhaps the Attorneys write them to look impressive here. Dont believe everything you read. Review cases. If you want to win your case,hire her or anyone at Avera & Smith. You wont regret it. Jenna also handled my auto accident case and i have refered her to friends that seem to be very impressed with her also. Get with Attorneys from a winning team....get with the team at Avera & Smith. Avvo says to not be ugly to the losing side, so...heres a smile for ya :)
