I went to Mr. Matthew's office to file bankruptcy. Not only did he help me through that difficulty, but when my ex tried to grab more money from my bankruptcy, he went above and beyond to correct what two family attorneys did not do in the past. Instead of the ex getting substantially more, I received a reduction in a monthly payment I make to the ex based on what was agreed to in family court. He didn't have to bring this up to me much less spend time to reduce the payment to the ex as well as the Ch 13 bankruptcy payment...but he did. He is an upstanding attorney and an all-around great guy. I'm sure he can help you too.

I had telephoned several attorneys regarding my situation. None of them viewed my case as I did; there was something wrong with the timing of a work-related injury claim
and my employment being terminated.
Then, someone referred me to Christopher Slater.
I was instantly impressed with his honesty, knowledge of the law, and how well informed he was of the particular requirements for the industry in which I was employed.
He expressed confidence, patience, and the value of timing with regards to filing my complaint with the proper court.
Christopher's genuine concern regarding my current medical condition was a relief and he advised me to "take care of it first".
Christopher spent a great deal of time on the phone during the initial conference and everytime afterwards.
He was easy to talk with and always straightforward; often using metaphors to get his point across.
And always he made certain I had no questions at the end of all conversations.
I appreciated his mindfulness of my time and distance from his office.
Office meetings were kept to a bare minimum.
The discussions regarding plan of procedures, his work on a contingency basis, and the difference between costs and fees were done via phone or email.
He made sure I understood my responsibilities before, during, and after the process of filing a suit.
The defendent eventually offered a settlement following a decision made by the State of Oregon courts during discovery.
I met with Christopher and the adjudicator to negotiate.
It was apparent he is a plaintiff's lawyer, as he often referred to himself.
I am certain his ethics, values, and professionalism appear very well in a courtroom.
I have a great deal of respect for Christopher and highly recommend him to anyone with questions regarding employment and disablilities.

Mr. Anderson and his team worked with me in navigating through a car accident in which I was rear-ended while at a complete stop. What initially appeared to be minor in nature, grew in complexity quickly due to 1 car triggering a cascading sequence of 4 other cars impacting one another. Mr. Wiseman worked on mine and my wife's case sometime last year. Originally, we were told by another Attorney that the final outcome was not going to be in my our favor. My mother was run over by a car and we needed to hire an attorney to help her with the accident. We decided to hire Mr Lopez after meeting with him because he told us he would adjust his fee if medical bills for my mom grew. I as skeptical as the contracted rate for his services was considerable. Mr Lopez did all the leg work to get the claim going and received the maximum payment for my mother in a matter of weeks. Additionally he negotiated with the hospital to eliminate my mother’s bill due to low insurance coverage. We were always able to get ahold of Mr. Lopez or staff and receive answers to our questions. This has been my first experience meeting with a lawyer. Surprisingly, my meeting with Jason went so well. It was very informative and educational. After listening to my situation patiently, he advised me on what steps I need to take to protect my children and myself in my pending divorce case.

I went to him concerning a custody issue after I was pretty much told by another lawyer that my children's emotional feelings were irrelavent & I had no argument as long as they were not coming home bruised or physically broken.
