I contacted Mezibov Butler to seek their legal advice on my constitutional rights being violated by my local law enforcement. I spoke with a paralegal named "TJ" TJ took down all my information and said that the attorneys were out to lunch. Three weeks later, I call again. Now TJ said that "Kevin" just got back from vacation. He would have him call me in the near future. Two weeks later I had to call the law firm and asked them why after all this time I can't speak with a lawyer and get some legal advice. Only after I pushed the issue, I got to speak with a attorney named "Dennis" He read information off of a piece of paper and asked if I was that person. After confirming that I was that person he asked the ridiculous question of "What do you want us to do for you?" Then I actually had to voice that I wanted him to stick up for my constitutional rights. He advised that there was nothing that he could help me with. Granted I don't know as much law as he does but the little I do know, I did not believe his professional opinion of there wasn't much he could do. According to Dennis that they mostly practice Employment Law and rarely to they practice Constitutional Law. In my personal opinion, this law firm is unprofessional, lazy, and do not offer proper advice. I would advised people to seek attorney advice somewhere else. EDIT**** (8-21-24) Since there is no button to respond to the "Owner's Response" I have to give my "Response to the Owner's Response" right here. Its really weird how I got such a prompt response only after I left a review for you on Google. Considering it took me a month to hear from your office the first time. I'm fairly positive that your paralegal TJ said "Kevin" Considering that TJ has a hard problem passing along phone messages, I would strongly consider that your law firm should investigate TJ's effectiveness at your law firm. During your free time, you should investigate "Amendment Auditors" on line. There is one undeniable conclusion that you can come to when watching these and they are all backed up by lawsuits. "Law Enforcement can not forcibly take your identity away from you without probable cause." If you can not look at my case and come to the conclusion that it is not a "viable claim" then I stand by my conclusion. Your law firm is unprofessional, lazy, and does not offer proper advice. On your google page you posted "When you have been wronged, you need an experienced law firm on your side that can help make things right." In my opinion your law firm has no interest of fighting for anyone and I'm going to use sarcastic air quotes right now "And making things right."

Mr. Hartnett is by far one of the best I’ve used( I have used estate attorneys, real estate attorneys and civil attorneys in my life, but he is so client focused. He is easy to talk to. Douglass Hartnett is a phenomenal attorney! He was able to take my summary of events and turn them into a concise Prehearing Statement. He was sharp-witted throughout the entire process. Brent and his associates did an excellent job with the class action suit we had against a former employer. He did more than expected in researching everything that was needed for the case. If you want to drop thousands of dollars to have a lawyer show up in court look like a lost puppy and not know what he’s doing then go with Jason Carnell. Plus He doesn’t return phone calls or emails. I personally fell for his mission statement on this page saying how he would put the client first but we never felt like he cared. But I can put all that aside if he was good at what he does or even competent, I feel that he doesn’t know what are you doing does not have enough experience yet. I honestly feel that I did his job for him and got my husband the deal with ADA he sat next to me and said nothing. Had I known Jason‘s lack of ability I would’ve went with the public defender save myself the money and the outcome would’ve been the same since im the one that did the work. So just beware

Tina Locklear represented me in a wrongful termination case. Tina is an amazing lawyer that was very attentive to my every question. She listened to me explain my situation and then gave me my options. I was given two options on how to pay. I was also given a 10% prompt pay discount when paying my bill, which is a great savings. Tina laid out, step by step, how the case would most likely be played out. She included a time frame for each step of the case and the cost associated with each step. She thoroughly explained the process to me and she answered every single one of my questions in a timely manner. I had a very positive experience with Tina Locklear and her Law Firm. I hired her to represent me for a Federal EEO case. My case was a non-selection racial discrimination case. I was told by other reputable law firms that I had only a 2 percent chance of wining the case. Most law firms wouldn’t touch my case. Although I was assured that I had a good case and even after presenting to her what my former employer’s position would be, Manali seemed unprepared when my former employer raised the exact defense I told her would be coming. She capitulated to my former employer, so I had to accept whatever settlement was available. I know it's business, but in my interactions with her, it seems she could not care less that I was a human being. Subsequently, an issue arose where she advised me on a topic she had no legal knowledge of. After going back and forth with her, asking why she advised the way she did, she finally admitted that she had no legal knowledge of what I was asking.

When I sought for legal representation I was at my lowest after leaving an unsavory work environment. Mrs.Arora reached out with ease as well as compassion. Lisa Stauff was my attorney for many years so I know her well. She was consistently very difficult to communicate with, sometimes taking a few months to get back to me about my case. But the worst is that after paying her thousands of dollars over the years, she failed to reply to the court on a motion to dismiss my case. The Judge gave Lisa multiple chances to file a reply but she failed to do so. The Judge had no choice but to dismiss my case. On top of that, Lisa has not even communicated the dismissal of my case to me. I had to write the Judge to find out the status of my case and its been two years.

I want to start by saying; this has been a very interesting and rewarding experience that I wish no one should ever go through. But in the case anyone is faced with an unlawful and injustice situation, it calming to know we can call on Oleg. Back in 2019, I was involved in a lawsuit with my former employer. During this time, it was stressful emotionally and financially not knowing what would come of my case. Oleg and his team did an effective job walking me through the steps from beginning to end. Below, I have identified into three categories that presents my feedback. Communication/ Responsiveness – Whenever I had a question or the lawsuit advance onto the next stage, Oleg was clear and precise on this delivery of information. This information was prioritized based upon what was relevant or what current concerns were. Oleg is easy to talk to. As he gets to know his clients more during the beginning process, I do see that he adapts his tone, speed, and vocabulary to mirror with his clients’ expectations. He is easily reached by phone, text, or email. Knowledge/Experience – Good knowledge (including California concentrated) and years of experience in overall employment law segment. During the beginning of my journey, Oleg explained to me how my former employer violated the law in ways that I wasn’t aware of. He ran me through the steps of what should have happened vs what did happen. I value the fact that Oleg will not overpromise the outcome of my case, but gave me possible realistic scenarios even if it sometimes wasn’t in my favor. He did an excellent job explaining to me what to expect as we moved along in the process. Effort – A lawyer that always has a plan is someone you want in your corner. During my process with Oleg, I felt he did all that was necessary to reach the best possible outcome of my case. He took extra action during the discovery process (took longer than I would like to have) but got all the info to put forth an effective case. During the length of the lawsuit, I felt Oleg was eager to push forward without losing any steam. Punctual and positive attitude from the day we won the case back to the day he accepted the case.

I truly hate that I have to write this review, and I want to make it clear that my dissatisfaction isn’t because the case didn’t go in my favor. My feelings towards this law firm aren’t shaped by that alone. I had a discrimination case and paid a significant amount of money for them to represent me, but sadly, I must say they were disorganized. I constantly had to follow up with them to get updates, and I can't help but feel like they didn’t pursue my case fully because they had already been paid by my employer. Some may disagree, but I genuinely believe they could improve their services—especially when it comes to follow-ups, laying out a clear plan of action, and, most importantly, not having the first meeting with Attorney T. Robinson be the last one, where he informed me he would no longer be handling my case. For the amount of money I paid and for what they promised, none of it was delivered. It seems like the only way they can successfully support or win a case is if you’ve been blatantly called slurs, physically abused, or subjected to years of blatant, documented discrimination. I expressed these concerns during our termination meeting, but I feel it’s important to share this with anyone considering them for an employment discrimination case.
