Ok, so YES they’re great lawyers, and they got my charges dropped, but I’m writing this review mainly because of their customer service. Tami took a difficult child custody situation and made it simple and easy for all parties. Without going into too much detail about my case, I was in a jam and for reasons beyond our control Ruth and I met for the first time just 5 minutes before the trial date of a custody hearing. This was a 5 year old case that had gone completely off the rails due in large part to an error in judgement I had made years earlier and then further exacerbated by an over zealous guardian ad liatem that I had asked to be appointed on my daughter's behalf. The GAL had completely convinced herself that she was right in figuring out that I had done something wrong even when all the evidence before her pointed to the contrary. With 5 minutes to prep Ruth on the most significant points of the case, we developed a strategy that took the legs right out from under the narrative being pushed forth by the GAL and the judge was wise enough to see through the clutter. My version of events made sense to what was known and did not require the leaps, jumps, and assumptions that were needed for the other. The truth can be stubborn like that sometimes. The odds were stacked against me but within minutes of having just met, Ruth understood the complexity of this case, comprehended the flaws in the GAL's logic and orchestrated a momentum shift that ended in a complete reversal of the tides. I contacted Ruth Robinson on a Saturday regarding a warrant that was issued for failure to appear. On Monday, she filed a notice of appearance as my attorney and filed a motion to have the warrant recalled. The court told her they’d recall the warrant and set a new court date. Ruth was very professional, diligent, and went above and beyond for me. She listened to everything I told her, requested me to send her several screenshots and filed the necessary paperwork to get the warrant recalled and a new court date. Amazing and highly recommended if you want or need someone who is passionate about practicing law and treating you like you’re a priority.

Approximately one year ago, my friend needed to find someone to represent her as she went through a challenging divorce. When our Mom passed away several years ago, Bill handled the Reverse Mortgage notification for us. Then six years later we received hundreds of pages of documents about the property that we did not understand. The relief I felt and the burden that was lifted after I called Bill and spoke with him about the documents received in regard to our mother’s reverse mortgage is the biggest part of the reason for this excellent rating.

Calling Colin McLaughlin to be my lawyer was the best decision I made. I faced a potential felony charge and was completely lost in what could happen. Although Michelle Cheng was always professional and responsive, I felt she could have been a lot more aggressive with our case. I feel as though she settled and gave advice based on prior cases and scenarios. We did get in touch with few attorneys via phone call, but Mr. Robson stood out and was our favorite. We directly talked with him on the phone for more than 30mins and were ready to sign with him. The next day we met with him. Even though we didn’t mutually agree and sign, Mr.Robson spent almost 2 hours with us and provided valuable advice to help us with the case. This tells me a lot about him as a person and how helpful he would be if we were to sign with him. I 100% recommend him to everybody.

I've had to good fortune to know Parker since she was recommended to me during my divorce some 20 years ago. Through the years, we've stayed in touch, and I have recommended her to numerous friends in need of help with divorce or adoption. Hands down, Parker is one of the best family practice attorneys in the region. As impressive as her command of the legal ins and outs of divorce, what I found - and still find - most impressive is her command of how to manage the emotional aspects of divorce (especially when children are involved as was the case with my case) with the negotiation strategies that's needed. Parker's advice was spot on about when, what and how I should advocate for myself, and her focus on the long term picture helped me navigate the short-term emotional mess when a marriage dissolves. When I felt indignant or angry over a counter-offer about some minor debt my "future former" and I shared, Parker wisely counseled, "Roger, in the long run this is pocket change. It's not worth the fight because there are more important issues for us to take a stand on."
And she was right. Years later that advice to focus on what's really important in the long-run (that helped design a fair separation agreement that didn't engender long-term resentment) helped us work through a particularly thorny financial issue. And Parker was there right by my side again offering just the right guidance to help me come out of that negotiation (we were able to avoid court, thankfully) in a = good place. Moreover, Parker went out of her way to help keep my legal costs to a minimum.
Parker's a great attorney, a great individual and I'm proud to say a great friend. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

The process of setting up a trust is just that, a process, and having someone who will take the time to sit, explain, answer questions, and then answer more questions as you go through the trust setup process is really important.
Keoni spent a lot of time with us, answering questions that came up along the way, gave us the guidance we needed to make sure we thought of everything and everyone involved.
