Middle of a tax audit and I was so over my head. The auditor was pretty mean and kept getting more and more aggressive and I was getting super scared of jail or tons of taxes I would never be able to pay back. I called Delia Law the next day and hired them on the spot. Ms. Delia contacted my auditor that day and provided an immediate status to me. She had it under control quickly. She knew the issues and reviewed my case so quick and had all the answers and negotiation strategy. Her confidence in helping me was truly amazing. So grateful she was able to get me through this audit and to help stop an audit of other years. Dawn Delia is a solid tax attorney who delivers results. We initially retained Delia Law in 2017 thinking our case would move swiftly and be pretty routine. How wrong we were! Because of a stupid tax mistake over a decade ago, I was assessed a bill for nearly $20,000 to the IRS which I was in no position to pay. Judy Morse and her team took over my divorce after my first attorney left me high and dry. She was recommended to me by not one but two (!) separate acquaintances. Her firm was highly responsive, answering all my questions and concerns as they came up throughout the process, and Judy and her associate offered suggestions and strategies at every turn. Judy also drove our mediation, and I was very impressed with her on-the-fly thinking that helped us reach alignment. Judy also is great at politely but firmly removing emotion from the process, which (I came to learn) is essential in divorce proceedings. Chris was amazing!! I had a year long divorce proceeding she was very persistent and accommodating. She was very compassionate and caring. I hired Michele to take over my divorce case that was on going, based on her 5 star reviews.
My first encounter with her was us going through details about the process. I provided every single fact/ proof that would determine fair and easy divorce.
She was all over the place on our two encounters, and the date for the mediation was set. She came in UNPREPARED, admitting she doesn’t KNOW my case minutes before the zoom call- mediation was taking place. When the zoom mediation started she did not represent me nor the case but she just agreed on whatever the other party wished for! She left the room every single time between breaks and did not want to sit and talk NOR consult with her own client that happens to be me. But she had the guts to say, CALL ME WHEN THE MEDIATION IS BACK ON!
I was left all by myself in that room that day, not knowing what’s happening, and the lawyer I was paying a tremendous amount of money to represent me, wasn’t even willing to consult nor communicate with her own client!
I faced a severe loss, as she was bothered to present facts during mediation to the opposing party that day.
As the mediation was taking place, she kept shoving all the possible assets towards my x-wife voluntarily, even though I had all the proof and documents stating the assets in question weren’t marital ones to split in two!
After I walked away confused and lost, the divorce was finalized, and I had to constantly beg her to send me either an email or mail me the divorce decree.
And unfortunately, I still had to take care of a minor thing left from the divorce, I asked Michele if she could finalize paperwork, my x wife’s name taken off the deed, ( this issue was a total neglect she could have handled the day of mediation)
I went ahead and paid another enormous amount for her to do a job she failed to initially do on the day of mediation.
Michelle Eisenmenger, my divorce lawyer, you were very expensive for the job you did not do, let alone do the job right!
My case could have been an easy one in comparison, but it cost me heartache, time and a huge amount of money, and time is the ultimate luxury.
It’s takes a lot to sit down and write an honest review as I feel for the people going through a traumatic experience with divorce and families being split, so they chose wisely, yes please, do chose wisely!
I would absolutely NOT recommend Michelle to handle even the easiest, slightest legal matter let alone trust her to handle your family/ divorce case.
It will shape your life in the most uncomfortable direction, because she decides to not break a sweat and learn about her client, learn about the case, so she can present her own client fairly. SHE CUT ALL POSSIBLE CORNERS TO EARN EASY MONEY, she used vulnerability and overcharged and crushed me in the process.

We made a consultation appointment paid 100$. We start off with him constantly burping and slurring his words. Something felt off when he kept asking the same questions. He wouldn’t write notes of anything we would tell him then would ask us the same question we just answered literally seconds ago. We ended up walking out. We got frustrated that he was not listening to any information we were giving him. This is the worst especially when you come for help and you get someone who does the opposite

Hired Sara Daly when I filed for divorce. My divorce was a very high conflict divorce and though I conveyed to Sara what type of person my ex wife is, I'm not sure she took it seriously at first. I assume that most attorneys hear from their clients that their ex spouses are the worst. In this case, mine actually is. After four mediations, one lasting 9 1/2 hours, I think Sara finally realized it.
As a father fighting for joint custody, I was fighting an uphill battle against an attorney who had no problem promoting her clients lies. I had to earn my parenting time when I was a father who, prior to filing for divorce, worked nights so I could stay home with my child during the day to avoid daycare. But somehow after I left the family home, I was made out to be an unfit father. I did not feel that my attorney represented me well in my original divorce.
Two years after my divorce was finalized, and literally non stop problem, I decided to take my ex wife back to court for more parenting time as well as several other issues that have. Once again, my ex wife came to court with a laundry list of lies. Sara exploited her lies, one by one. Sara came to the hearing very prepared and made my ex wife as well as her attorney look like fools in court. When my ex wifes attorney would tell a lie, Sara would counter it with the truth and the documentation to prove my ex was lying.
Though I was disappointed the first time around, I turned out to be very glad I rehired Sara. Sara is a very honest attorney and really is interested in the well being of the children involved. She also has no problem telling her clients if they are doing something they should not be doing. I would highly recommend Sara. She is straight forward and knows the law thoroughly.
Unfortunately no court order can force someone to be a good parent.

Sara is amazing at what she does. We were really nervous walking into our Termination/Adoption process and she made sure we were comfortable and educated on every step we took. We knew walking in that every difficulty that could be faced with the termination would be headed our way because the biological father would not consent to an adoption but Sara still helped us to take it one step at a time and kept our hope up! She helped us prepare for possible outcomes of a Trial and helped to us mediate our voluntary termination agreement. Sara was so prepared for everything and still I can't even count how many times I watched her read our case files just so she had that last hint of information. She impressed me more and more every time we walked into a court room. Hiring her was one of the best decision because of the dedication that she gave to our family.

I was about to give up until a friend of mine who is a lawyer told me that the best person to go to if I wanted to stand a chance of winning was Kimberly Phillips. I told her my story and all the issues that I was having. She told me that she understood what I was going through and knew exactly what to do to help me with my situation. I hired her because I knew that she really wanted to help me. Her actions spoke louder than her words. She always contacted me continuously to keep me up to date at all times on what direction we were headed. I never had to wonder what was going on. She was always available to answer all my questions. She is very honest. She always showed concern. It seems as if she never stop working. She made me feel that I was her only client. I appreciated her kindness and her patience. Mrs. Phillips explained legal terms to me in a way that I could understand it. Mrs. Phillips did endless research on my case and was able to discover things about my ex-wife that I didn't know. Julie was the attorney that brought my prolonged, nearly 2.5 year Court Master-involved divorce case to resolution. After two previous attorneys had gone on maternity leave, it could have been easy to become frustrated at the prospect of having the case transferred for a third time, however Julie assumed the case seamlessly and confidently assured me the case would continue to move along without disruption.

Zanita or Z as she likes to be called, took me through my divorce with a great deal of concern for me as well as for my children. Z didn't let my "hurry up, I just want it over" emotional responses to the divorce proceedings cost me in my sanity or in my settlement. He went behind my back and drew up an illegal custody arrangement with my ex and pretended to be a non biased attorney "just making sure it was legal". He took away my basic rights as a parent. I was denied even standard order posession when our agreement was supposed to be 50/50. He then screwed me out of $3500 trying to fix his original mistakes because my ex refused to pay him anything even though he was her attorney. I only agreed because I desperately wanted time with my kid. He never filed the modifications. Then laughed in my face when he told me he used his wife Sasha, (who is also his paralegal) as the "psychologist" to clear my ex after she called and told our son she was going to blow her brains out and he would never see his mother again. His wife use to work at Arlington schools as a counselor, not sure how she is qualified to clear a suicide attempt in a custody case. They hid this information falsely under HIPPA rules. My poor kid has seen his mother shoot a gun at me, and dealt with a slew of psychological BS because of this man and his shady practices.

I retained Maxine Ho as my attorney for a period of time between 2019 and 2020. Due to early mistakes on my part, my divorce case had turned complex and was challenging for just about any attorney to turn around. I was fortunate to have Maxine consider representing me given the circumstance.
Maxine is a great attorney who is efficient, polite, honest and responds in a timely manner. She has the ability to apply aggression if and when necessary, and she also stands her ground if and when in disagreement with her client, with good intention and in good faith - in saying so, I can highly recommend her.
I have not come across decent attorneys even after an extensive search over a period of 4 years; however, I can say that Maxine is one of the few good ones.

We were quite disappointed in our interactions with Liz Vaysman. We contracted her for a consultation phone call, which was a limited engagement, of which we were entirely aware of. In our experience, if you hire Liz, be prepared for defensiveness, an inability to listen, and a combative atmosphere from the outset.
However, Liz spent way too much time on the call itself explaining over and over how limited our engagement was. We stopped the whole conversation to make a clear point that we were NOT interested in taking advantage of her in any way, and we clearly understood the engagement.
This was apparently not heard, and she continued to make this point over and over while we tried to salvage the conversation and get clear legal guidance for our money.
We wanted to record the session, so none of the important information we received would be forgotten by us, considering we are very busy and not lawyers. But Liz didn’t allow that. We were fine her reasoning, and we all agreed she would follow up our call with an email listing the advice and the relevant links to details.
Liz then proceeded to ghost us entirely, and it took multiple emails and phone calls and a threat to leave a negative review before we heard back from her. At that point, 4 months had elapsed.
We finally received our follow up email, with a curt apology and a repeat of her admonishment that we had not paid for any more services, and that our engagement was completed.
In our experience, if you hire Liz, be prepared for defensiveness, an inability to listen, and a combative atmosphere from the outset.

I would never recommend anyone to use Emily as their attorney. I hired her many many years ago to represent me for my child custody/ support case and she did nothing to help me. I did all the leg work by providing her all my documents, going to the court to retrieve old documents from previous cases with the father of my children. The day of court she showed up with no paperwork, good thing I was prepared and had a copy of the whole case with me that she used. After months of not hearing from her with an update she informed me the judge threw out my case due to the other parent having outstanding violations and that I could pay the tickets myself to live forward which turned out to be a lie years later. I went to the court to try to proceed with the case on my own and the staff thought I was crazy and advised me to fire my attorney because they hard record she showed up to court on an unknown date and represented me and the judge did actually grant me full custody and child support which I did not know about for years. When I asked for the final documents they informed me the child support will not be valid since the attorney filed the order after hearing incorrectly and left off the child support but it was mentioned in the minute order. Per the court staff I would have to refill all the paperwork and serve the other parent again and go before a judge. It’s impossible for me to serve the other parent as he is in jail far away and financially I do not have the funds nor time to do this as this has been a case going since about 2013. Do not waste your time or money because you will be left doing the attorney work on your own.
