He's great at harassing grieving families and helping criminals exploit the elderly. He's happy to accept money from people other than his actual client so people without standing can harass family members using this person's expertise. He gives advice that can cost you upwards of $14000, but why should he care? He bills by the hour, so whatever happens to vulnerable, elderly clients doesn't matter at all to him. Run. Just run the other way.

Phil is extremely thorough, using layman's terms, in explaining what needs to be done , why it needs to be done, and how it should be done. The service is very friendly and the results excellent. As the Successor Trustee of a trust having real estate co-owned by the trust and the son (who died intestate in Arkansas) of the initial trustee, I needed expert legal advice and assistance. From Alabama, I contacted Philip Schmidt by email and provided information for him to review. Based on other legal sources, I was anticipating large legal fees and Probate Court costs with the process taking considerable time
Phil reviewed the information and determined the least costly and most rapid approach to getting the son’s interest in the property transferred to his spouse followed by her deeding it to the trust. Phil kept me up-to-date on the developments throughout. Four weeks following our initial contact, he represented the trust's interests at the property sale closing. She is a good honest person but she is an unavailable attorney. She doesn't dedicate any time to her Law Practice (run by herself and one other person). Michelle was impossible to reach, she often would be unavailable for a week at a time if not longer. Rarely answered emails or phone calls, her work ethic just isn't there. Unresponsive to myself and to the opposing council and others involved in my case. I almost missed a hearing (amoung other things) due to her only working one day a week. Hiring an attorney is so stressful and Michelle will only add to that stress, if your looking for an attorney that will work and help your case progress please look elsewhere. I don't ever want anyone else to go through the stress of working with an attorney who is never present.

Mr. Edward (Ed) Horan was hired to fight for the protection of our daughter. Mr. Horan explained the challenges to us, by not being blood relatives, but nonetheless, he put his heart, experience, tenacity and his love for the protection of our daughter and he never gave up. Thanks to Mr. Horan and God, we WON the case. Mr. Horan always sent us detailed invoices that explained the work he completed. My husband and I recommend him to anyone who needs a great, honorable lawyer. In the court room, he is respectful to the judges and other attorneys. He is very known in the leon county courthouse and seems to be respected. He does his homework and KNOWS the right angles and questions to ask whoever is on the stand. You can trust Mr. Horan and the angle he is taking to win and fight for you. Mr. Horan will allow you to bring evidence to him and if it is credible, he will use it. We are thankful that Mr. Horan held our hands throughout the entire process (from the TPR to the adoption). I hired ed about 4 years ago, let's just say everything he had told me went out the window once we went to mediation. I ended up with a horrible agreement that had multiple mistakes in it that the other party used to their advantage. His only advice was for me to hope they didn't notice. I know better now, but was much to trusting back then.

We think Ellen and her team (Lyn and Maggie) are terrific. She did our placement and was our lawyer for an out-of-state adoption (we're the adoptive parents), and we felt well informed and well advocated-for every step of the way. She cares a lot about her work, and she's clearly a zealous advocate for her clients, which we appreciated when the hospital where our child was born tried to give us the runaround on some insurance stuff--Ellen stepped in and took care of business. And she gets to the point, which we appreciated. Given our experience, her fees are entirely reasonable. We intend to adopt again and definitely will sign up with her for it.

Just a few weeks ago, we traveled to Florida for an adoption. Ms. Kaplan and her entire office were amazing from the very beginning! She ruined me and my kids life's. She's so unprofessional. Has no idea what she is doing and is a complete train wreck. Dealing with her was a nightmare and I of course lost my kids. I live in California. I have law suits in Houston and although i have never retained Candice that has recently become a thing of the past. I have nothing but disdain for attorneys as a general class but there are a few exception. Candice Lee Leonard is one of of the latter. I have consulted with Candace for six years and without her help... OMG! I have retained Candice to close this nightmare. While she may not be the best litigator i have ever met, quite frankly, I have enough experience with her and confidence in her to actually turn my back without worry.

Candice went beyond the call of duty in representing me in a civil matter which involved a matter that our government and especially the Courts dismiss because it is complicated, personal, and is easier to dismiss than confront the issue. The petition submitted was pure genius in its construct, it is to bad she had to deal with unethical colleagues and a week justice. Ann has been not only a great attorney but a very caring and compassionate person.Unfortunatley we had to hire her for a child dependency case. She was referred to us by Mito Action and was the only Az attorney that was recommended by them.You can not put a price on what Ann has done for us.All others said that no one gets their kid back at a temporary custody hearing.Ann even said that it was extremely hard but her 40 plus years experience in family law brought our daughter home.Ann is beyond brilliant in the court room.She is not only aggressive but but very well spoken.I have had to to hire other attorneys in the past for different circumstances and i have never felt more confident with a attorney then we did with Ann.She is very straight forward and honest.There was no false promises she told us the way it was and what to expect. Mr Hartstein has proved to be incompetent when it is a complicated divorce case and he cannot remember the facts and misapplied the facts without consulting me. Mr Hartstein is scattered during phone conversations and can't retain details . Mr Harstein placed me in a precarious situation and was unable, even after acknowledging his error, to correct the mistake. Mr Hartstein loves to share stories about other clients, wasting precious time and billing for his non sequitor babble. Mr Harstein is filled with himself, manipulative and spent more time talking about himself and other cases and then billing me. The results were doing nothing of any value. Mr Harstein is not technical with the new computer age and using him is a waste of money. Mr Harstein makes it appear that he is interested in your case, but don't fall for his concern, his main focus is to talk a lot and then bill, bill, bill. Instead of Mr Hartstein working on your case, he spends the time bragging and patting himself on the back Don't do it... you will be wasting your money.

Patricia Hibler "Trish" helped me gain custody of my daughter from her neglectful mother, who was a practicing family attorney herself. She represented me again after my ex tried to regain custody.
She never once "padded" her bill with meaningless expenses, and she was always there for us when we needed her. She never treated us like a client, but more like a friend. There is no other attorney I would ever go to when it comes to family law.

Several years ago I was in the process of a divorce with an attorney that was costing me a fortune and wasn’t getting any results. I hired MS. HIBLER after firing the first attorney. Within 60 days I was divorced and had received a fair settlement from my ex-wife. MS. HIBLER was the most effective attorney I have ever seen practice. Attempted to contact several times by telephone and always had to leave voice mails which were never returned. Personally handed him documents that needed to be filed by a certain date.
Found out they were never completed and had to complete the documents myself, have them notarized and delivered to courthouse on last day they were due.
Never returns email messages. Due to inclement weather, got email message that office was closed for day. Ok, can understand that. Guess the weather obliterated the office because after a week realized never getting back to me.
Spent over $1500 that I wished I had back to spend a more more competent attorney.

Honestly I have a habit of freaking out a little bit when facing situations like I am currently facing. Rudy has made time to sit down with me explain the situation in terms anyone can understand avoiding the “freak out”. He’s an amazing people person warm and kind hearted is a good way to discribe him. You can see kindness and that he cares in his eyes and in the way he speaks to you as his client. My brother and I who both live out of state needed an attorney to handle a rather complicated estate for our father and step mother in the state of Tennessee. Bobby was referred to me by a local friend in Franklin and we could not have been happier with the choice.
Bobby and his lovely mother were incredibly responsive to our needs, budget and the difficulty of having clients who reside out of state. Bobby was able to handle the matter to our ultimate satisfaction and was able to navigate successfully the complicated state of affairs our parents had left upon their passing.
Once Bobby sorted out the estates he was able to refer us to another local attorney to deal with the real estate sale portion which was also fairly complicated.
My brother and I greatly appreciated the services Bobby provided, as well as the piece of mind that this matter was being handled professionally and in a timely manner without us having to fly back and forth from out of state.
I would highly recommend this firm to anyone needing a quality lawyer with excellent values, and experience in the state of Tennessee, especially for matters in Williamson County.

I had the worst representation ever with this lawyer. Very painful divorce which she made worst with her bullying. I had no experience what so ever and followed her lead......worst mistake ever. She never fought for my interests and her only interest was to close the mediation process as soon as possible using a "friend" as a mediator. I lost everything because she made me sign a mediation that I had no clue it was a document basically written in stone. She made me believe things could be changed. But, the worst was the bullying...... by phone, email, in person.......She seemed to be on my side until I paid the retainer, after that, it was a painful process, more than the divorce itself.
I would never recommend her not even if my life depended on it.

No one sets out on he wedding day thinking I'm going to get a divorce someday. Sometimes the inevitable happens though and that day does happen. When I reached that day in my own life, my #1 concern was that my son was effected as little as possible and his best interest was put first.
I interviewed several attorneys before meeting Sharon Ramage. After meeting with Sharon I knew she beyond fit the bill. Her background in Social Work gives her the background to have your kids interest covered.
Our divorce was very amicable and other than a few things my ex and I agreed on all points, because of this Sharon offered to handle the entire divorce. This not only saved us thousands of dollars, but allowed us to fast track a lot of the process. Since I hired her, she couldn't give my ex advice on anything but would send & submit things for both of us.
Her office staff is just as amazing. I worked closely with McKenna & Betsy on several occasions and they were just as wonderful.

Recently hired Sharon to help me in a battle for custody of my son. My situation was complex to say the least but from the beginning she provided me with nothing but confidence, reassurance and truth. Mark is a fantastic lawyer and person. He spent a lot of his own time (free of charge) talking with us and going over details! He also gave it to us straight forward and didn’t sugar coat anything. In 2012 my husband and I contacted Tracy to help us prepare a living will and overall estate plan. I will say that she was very professional and courteous, and her prices were quite fair.
My husband has been in oil and gas his whole life and we were specifically concerned about putting money away so that I would be okay and our disabled oldest daughter would be okay.
In general she did a good job and was easy to work with.
My husband passed in early 2021 and my son worked with Tracy to probate the estate. When we involved our tax specialist there was a 7 figure tax bill that was completely unexpected!
It felt like she didn't do her homework or involve the right tax specialist. We've been blessed to have more than we need but I am upset that she didn't do this properly when my husband was around to help.
