Theresa Childress lied to me and promised to do things that she never did. Once she realized that she was losing she quit my case without a valid reason and left me without representation 10 days before mediation. She recorded our conversation without my knowledge and refuses to give me a copy of it until I threatened to report her to the Board of Professional Responsibilities - which I am still going to do. She charged me a lot of money (nearly $10k) and I’m still not divorced yet! She bragged about how much smarter she was than opposing counsel and how she often had won against her previously in cases. I didn’t see her to be very smart at all! She was late to hearings, unprepared and was advised that her motions had to be rewritten due to errors. She claimed she couldn’t get a favorable judgment in court because the judge didn’t like me!!!!! She did absolutely nothing to help me.

I started to used Rhonda after my divorce was final and there were items in the MSA that were not being followed. She is an incredible attorney that gets things done quickly and efficiently. One of the things I appreciate the most is that I do not have to wait long for a response; many times you are waiting and re-calling/checking on items. She works fast to get things accomplished. I know whatever I bring to her she will take care of in the best way possible and in a timely manner.

Overall, Thomas is 100%. Watch out for last-minute deals when he gets you to sign something at the very last minute that he doesn’t warn you about they can actually define your reputation for the rest of your life. Don’t sign up for anything with Thomas until you get the fine letter print at least a week before you go to court because once you’re in court and you’re up against that…
Overall, he’s a great attorney, but at the last minute when you think everything is wrapped up and a pretty little package, he will disturb you and make you sign something that you wish you never had signed off on.

I was catapulted into divorce, and blindsided by my (then) husband. From the moment I walked into Matt’s office, I was welcomed with kindness, empathy, strength, lots of tissues and I left with a plan. Matt and Jen took their time to hear “my story” and really listened to my hopes for my marriage as well as my worries about divorce.
Matt and Jen were there EVERY STEP of the way from start to finish, 2.5 years of false accusations, malicious and fabricated statements that attacked my role as a mum, my integrity and could have significantly impacted my career. I genuinely thought I was going crazy.
Matt and Jen never wavered in their continued support and belief in me and the truth despite the oppositional fabrications. They never once believed I was what was being said.
They plowed through many ( and I mean many) emotional and some times erratic emails filled with 100’s of pictures, videos and screenshots of messages/emails, in response to receiving statements that were personal attacks and untrue.
Matt and Jen took this all within their stride, they never once made me feel I was too much or a burden. They were my backbone at the most crushing time of my life. I felt that this wasn’t just a “job” for them they genuinely cared about what was best for me and my children.
My case was complex for many reasons but was further complicated by an international move, yet Matt and Jen continued to support me from afar continuing to validate my story and their belief in me never changed regardless of my geographical location.
This was evident in our recent trial, my then husband continued their fabrications on the stand, yet this did not phase Matt in the slightest, he was more than prepared and presented evidence after evidence to disprove my then husband right there on the stand. It was extremely hard and sad to witness, yet my story and my truth was finally being told and It finally hit me, I was not crazy!!
I cannot thank Matt and Jen enough. Whether you are scared, worried, an emotional mess, crushed and suffocating or not, Matt and Jen will be your backbone and hold that emotional weight until you can breathe again.
Matt and Jen, I can finally breathe and begin to heal so from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

I was referred to Amy Smith by some friends and I have to say that from the time of our initial consultation, I felt that Amy was very professional and caring to my concerns. Chris helped me with a long aggravating divorce which was made harder because of a some other family items outside of just my marriage. He was very easy to reach and very good at responding to my texts and emails. Chris worked very hard with my ex wife’s lawyers trying to get things settled. I initially spoke to Chris when a friend referred me to him for consultation regarding starting a divorce process. However, it was soon evident that I would need to hire a lawyer to help me navigate what was potentially going to be a messy and long divorce, mostly concerning money and our one child together. This law firm is excellent. They (Mrs. Berbarie and her assistant) assisted me with my divorce after 20 years. She is extremely knowledgeable of the law and will do everthing by legal ways to make a divorce proceedings as smooth as possible. I had consulted with Miss Bernier or legal advice on a divorce. My divorce was not normal by any means. I had to do with a high profile case in twined with my divorce. Because of that, it made it a very lengthy and expensive battle. Mrs. Vernier and her co-council were absolutely amazing. Everyone was willing to do everything they could to help me win my case. On a personal note, she would do everything she could to keep me saying and help me on the emotional side of the case. It was very long and drawn out, but in the end, things ended up in my favor.
