Alex is by far the most amazing attorney I have ever met. She keeps you updated on everything and can smell a lie like a fart in a car. She helped my daughter with a very sticky complex custody case and even though it’s far from over for us, she most definitely out did herself, she responds quickly to emails, but even better is how she is in court. Hands down the BEST attorney I’ve been represented by. He navigated seamlessly through my custodial civil case with my son and I was awarded custody in the end. Mind you there were several landmines he had to help me over and as stated before the man did it with ease! I would classify myself as a pretty intelligent being that is well versed and one who does extensive research when I don’t know or understand something. I say that to say this, I barely had ANY questions for Darran B during our face to face meetups due to him having all the answers to my questions already covered. If it were possible to give zero stars, this would be a zero. My daughter hired Ms. Devon Humphreys of this firm to handle a custody issue. During the course of her representation, she gave late and erroneous advice that resulted in serious, negative results in my daughter's case in addition to costing a ridiculous amount of money. On the day of trial, Ms. Humphries withdrew because we wanted an explanation for a late change in advice that she had no explanation for and chose to withdraw instead. After the withdrawal, several attorneys suggested that the conduct in this case could be considered malpractice. Ms. Humphries advised my daughter to compromise her claim for terms that were far less favorable than those eventually achieved by new counsel. Save yourself the time and money and look elsewhere.

Mr. McGuire and his assistant, Tanya, were very helpful and knowledgeable throughout my husband’s case. Mr. McGuire was able to get my husband everything he was asking for, including full physical custody of his daughter. I could never recommend this firm for representation on any matters. I had a more simple matter and had to ask for monthly invoice's, which should be sent by legitimate firms on a monthly basis. All I can think of is this may be because they do no work on your file, which is not why you hire counsel. Essentially, after four months, I felt zero attention to my case. If you need representation, or a firm to work on your case, and put time in with attention to detail, I'd suggest you pursue another firm that will put the time in. I hired another firm months ago who got a lot further in 3 weeks than this firm did after 4 months. Its a shame as previously I had thought highly of this firm, but now with my own experience, I couldn't recommend them for simple matters much less anything complex.

I have had the misfortune of needing many different types of lawyers in my life. The bright spot of that, is being able to recognize what a good attorney looks like, and Gene is absolutely phenomenal.
I reached out to the main office regarding my legal situation and the admin/finance departments were always responsive, kind and professional. I felt the pricing was transparent, and fair.
I was impressed with the level of communication, dedication and quality of service provided by this firm. Gene is an extremely knowledgeable, helpful and organized professional. His professional connections and legal acumen makes him an incredible attorney.
Whenever I had questions Helen and Gene ensured I felt comfortable and was fully informed of each potential branch the case could take.
I appreciated their grace with my limited knowledge in the inner workings of DCPP situations. I feel whole heartedly that hiring this form was the best choice I could have made.

My experience with this law firm was is that if you have issues with D.C.C.P. Allison Williams is the attorney that you absolutely should get on your side especially, if you don't have close to a squeaky clean past and/or you do not walk a straight line. No matter what you did or what they said you did, the outcome will likely be a lot better if you get Allison on your case. An attorney in the Williams firm represented my wife in a D.C.C.P. case. The outcome in my wife's case was ok but now looking back after meeting Allison she should have paid more money for Allison instead of getting one of the other attorneys in the firm.
Although I only spoke with Allison one time with my wife ,knowing the system very well and the past dealings I have had with other attorneys, I feel that Allison is the real deal and can be trusted. I would advise you to pay the extra money she charges for her service rather than getting one of the other attorneys in her firm that will not represent you like Allison will.
I am hoping to get Allison to help me gain custody of my 7 year old daughter. I met other attorneys from big expensive firms, and I pick Allison over all of them.

I do not have much experience with law firms, but I can honestly say that this firm is the absolute worst when it comes to communication. I should have followed my first mind and dropped them months ago instead of letting them talk me into staying with them. If I could give negative stars I would give them 1,000 of them. A client should never have to basically beg for a returned phone call, email or text. It literally takes a few seconds to send a text. Lawyer gave me her personal cell phone number allegedly and I still do not get a response. I have gone weeks, probably even a month or so WITH NO CONTACT from my so called lawyer or team. I went to court in April of this year and I still have no idea what is happening or any updates. I had to make the choice to return to work while still injured and in pain because I could no longer wait for this circus to represent me. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. I was off from work for 10 months with no pay based off of a partial denial from workman's comp and these lawyers move slower than molasses in Alaska. They did nothing to force the issue of the partial denial to have workman's comp keep paying me and providing therapy while things went through the "process" Now I am stuck with the choice of firing them like I should have and start over, or keep waiting it out...DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!!!!!!!!!

Unethical scam artists that regularly get disbarred and only care about billable hour$. If you’re not racking up hour$, even after telling them about your budget, they’ll drop you right before trial and leave you unrepresented. Need your files? Too bad, pay your ransom.
They schedule appointments against your will and charge you anyways, even after telling them you didn’t agree to it. They’ll backpay themselves when you weren’t represented by them and chit chat about the weather to bloat the hour$.
They’ll also whisper into their recording device “No client-attorney privilege”, before asking questions around other unknown people, outside of their office. Don’t like that? Go unrepresented or write a blank check.

My sister is a black , single mother of 2. She has several degrees, and was still in school trying to get the highest education she could. Although , like no other a terrible situation occurred , and being in a town like this of course, you’re prone to be racially profiled. In addition, she thought she had a great lawyer but as always the system fails us tremendously. This lawyer is why im writing this review today, so others wont make the same mistakes he did. I have seen the system fail multiple people in my community! Although I never thought YOUR REPRESENTATION , would be so ignoble and fail you without any remorse. Please let him represent you at your own risk. Communication became less frequent, and important aspects of my case seemed to be overlooked or delayed.Instead we were wasting hours in not so important details. It became increasingly clear that the level of care and diligence I initially received was no longer a priority. They were managing different cases but also mine and they had no incentives to spend the hours in the relevant and important details.

Mr. Paletta has gone above and beyond for me from day one. While working as a nurse, I gave a patient a narcotic, but forgot to sign in the computer that I had administered it, eventhough I had signed it out of the book, I was fired and charged with theft. I was referred to a criminal attorney, he wasn't familiar with the nursing board and long story short, unintentionally, made the situation worse, at that point, the state board suspended my license. That attorney then referred me to Mr. Paletta. Frankly, at that time, I had no faith in attorneys and wasn't really interested in hiring another one. But, I made the phone call. From the moment he answered the phone, Mr. Paletta put me at ease, he is extremely knowledgeable, especially when it pertains to medical and nursing licenses and the boards, he's compassionate, kind-hearted, and a truly good, and noble person. He worked with me on a payment plan I was able to do, he went to work immediately on my case, and frankly, my license was returned to me far quicker than I thought would be possible. He's very responsive, he explains things thoroughly but doesn't talk down to his clients. He made me feel "heard" at a time when I had just about given up hope. I would recommend him to anyone, he truly is the best there is. I have a matter in family court and Mr. Paletta not only recommended a family attorney but he made adjustments in my payment plan to facilitate my being able to retain her, i dont know of any other professional who would do that, his kindness has restored my faith in people.
