My separation and divorce has been, by far, the worst experience of my life. One of the very few silver linings was hiring The Office of Nigel Burns to represent and advocate for me. I cannot stress enough how effectively Samuel Brown was able to handle the legal side of things while I tried my best to navigate the emotional part of everything. I have truly been in the best hands. They handled my custody battle flawlessly and I got physical custody of my son despite being told by other law firms that it would be almost impossible. I HIGHLY recommend working with Nigel's team. I specifically worked with Jeanine and Samuel, who were both very responsive and consummate professionals. They will help prep and guide you along the way to ensure that the appropriate narrative is articulated for the courts. I would hope that these services aren't needed again, but if they were, I would certainly choose to work with Nigel's team again. Their pricing for services are very fair & reasonable, and commensurate with ongoing market rates. However, the value that the team delivers will exceed your expectations. On another note, I had referred my friend to Nigel's firm regarding his divorce case, and Nigel ended up referring him to another more suitable external law firm to handle his case, and my friend is pleased with the referral and got the result that he wanted. Nigel's team sincerely just wants to find the best way to deliver value. You can't go wrong if you go with this law firm.

Mr Burns agreed, he personally, would handle my case and was hired to go to trial. He never showed up to any hearing or deposition, or anything, as far as know. I was there and he was NOT. So any rebuttal he makes is a … He bailed out before the trial. And left me hanging. It gets worse. There’s a delusional concept about representation of the client. He thinks he did a good job? Ridiculous. He even admits he wasn’t at anything referenced. Evaluate your risk with this professed attorney boxer persona, as an analogy, stated to get your business. When questioned about preparation, trial progress, etc he became very aggressive and agitated and irrational. He still refuses to refund my entire $ amount or provide my file that is owned by the client. He will only provide the physical file, as he puts it. So now my position in the case is worse than before he was hired. I will have to pay someone 10s of thousands just to get up to speed. But he knows that. Runnnnnnnn.
