RUN DO NOT WALK. Vanessa gives you her best self before the retainer is paid. She doesn’t follow thru on what she says she will do, and if you question why, she immediately becomes defensive and screams at you. She told me she would schedule a conference call for a time sensitive matter with opposing attorney within 2 days. After several attempts trying to reach her, the time had already passed the meet the deadline. When I questioned her, she starts screaming she is ‘working on a much more important case than mine and do I want a mother to lose custody of her child?!’ How is that my problem? I just wanted her to do what she said she would do. This happened in less than a week of paying my retainer. I dropped her and asked for full retainer and she still charged me over $600. For what?

If you are looking for the best family law team, you found them! Vanessa Gnekow and team took care of my divorce and was able to reach a settlement that was what I wanted. Thank you team!!!

I originally retained Vanessa for my child custody case in 2020. I was in a long ugly custody battle and Vanessa and team worked their magic. Sadly I has to use Ms. Gnekow and her team for my family case. But she did an amazing job. Her and her team went above and beyond for my daughter and I.
