Shady ppl when it comes to payment agreements

Vanessa is a Super Attorney! Her knowledge of family law and experience set her apart. Her individual strength and her passion to serve her client makes a difference in the court room.

Do not recommend Vanessa Gnekow as a lawyer. The office does all the work while Vanessa comes to court unprepared and has a hard time controlling her anger causing the judge to dismiss one of the hearings due to her outbursts. This law office is very very expensive and will drain you for all you have even to the point of Vanessa attacking me for being a stay at home mother and saying I need to get a job to pay off my husbands lawyer fees. All Vanessa cares about is money and the second you complain about fees and they realize you don’t have over $30,000 to give them in attorney fees they will drop your case without warning. Going through court can be emotional and a hard time already don’t let this law office take advantage of you.

ZERO STARS!!Horrible attorney; her and her father are sharing the same practice and they are like a mafia. Vanessa Gnekow is a horrible attorney; who practically depends on her paralegals to write down her defenses which she entirely unaware of except right at the hearing day. Not to mention that she lost her temper on the judge on my case multiple times. Because she does not have the legal skills or defense knowledge; she rambles and get entirely frustrated. This has lead the judge on my case to dismiss my hearings multiple times. Vanessa lost my case Despite the other party being pro per. She has financially drained me and then overcharged me after paying up all her fees. This attorney needs anger management and I would not recommend her to anyone!

This firm cost me more time and money then it should have. Divorce took two years and the other party was unrepresented. Went through 4 paralegals during my divorce process. The office prepared paperwork incorrectly THREE times, then charged to correct it and wasted more time. I had to prompt them at every step. They initiated nothing but bills. I wouldn't recommend this office. My friend continues to ask me who did my divorce and I won't tell her. If they go through that many paralegals in a 22 month period, the problem is internal. When we finally get my divirce done, $17k later, (for a middle income divorce), he withdraws as my representation. Thank you for saving me the time of substituting someone in should any additional issues arise.

When services started with this Law Firm I wasn’t happy with how things were going because of the lack of communication. After the trial was over and I was able to get my child agreement finalized and filed everything was better. Vanessa Gnekow did an excellent job to fight for me I should say. She’s very involved in her work and customer service is her number one. Thank you for Vanessa for all that you’ve done for me keep up the good work and take care of your good employees thanks again.
