Thanks again Juanita! Original Post— I found this law practice through my legal insurance provider ARAG. I reached out to the practice and I was paired up with Juanita. I was having issues with my landlord trying to illegally evict me. She wrote a draft demand letter and gave me some options for the letter based on the specific outcome I wanted. The best part, she was successful in helping me! She was very timely and professional and if I have any issues in the future that her practice covers, I will most definitely be coming back. Our case started on December 2020, during the COVID19 crisis, but I knew we had to start the process of eviction because I needed the property for a family member to move in ASAP, I know having to evict a tenant is not enjoyable and it can be super stressful , that is why I needed the best attorney I can find. Mellman & Mellman patiently walked me through the process and helped me understand the special situations that we were in because of COVID19, they advised me that I have to be patient, but by following the law at the end we will be able to get my property back. They worked out a deal with my tenant so well done that I had ultimately thought that was the reason they left the property in good conditions.
