Stuart Mellman quickly researched my concerns. He provided me clear documentation, and took the time to explain everything to me.

In the beginning, I interviewed several attorneys & law firms for my DUI case. Each had a different fees as well as approaches to my case. Marshal and Nima were extremely kind and helpful on the phone. When I called Marshal he was very caring and enjoyable to talk to. He asked many things about me and took the time to get to know me. We then discussed how he could help, and he gave me no-nonsense answers. He explained they wasn't the cheapest and what they could do for me. In the end, everything they told me was correct, and the outcomes happened as they predicted and coached me on. Their guidance through my issue was exceptional. While I don't intend to have myself in a situation like that would require their service, I would highly recommend them and their fee to help. This firm is the best!

Shankel Esq ‘Now I see the Light at the End of the Tunnel’ Recently I sought the services of Mellman and Mellman, LLP and was assisted by their Associate Attorney, Sarah E. Shankel Esq. This is a smaller firm that packs a big wallop. They get the job done with Integrity, Grace, Professionalism and in a timely manner. I was dealing with a personal situation never before encountered and needed legal assistance. Ms. Shankel was very attentive, professional, detail oriented and walked me through every step of the process. She even assisted me with filling out a form that was unfamiliar to me. She worked with me, explaining in detail what I needed to do, in layman terms, to assure I not only completed the form but understood it. I sent emails back and forth to Ms. Shankel making inquires along the way. She always responded with grace, integrity and assured me everything was going fine. Then came the Court date. Ms. Shankel and her team of Associates represented me. After 6 hours of a long drawn out process, the end result was the Judge was pleased with how this Attorney presented her case, and how she recommended the conclusion that benefitted everyone. This is what encouraged me to write a review. One of the best things about this firm is that they do not charge astronomical amounts to represent you, they care about You! Other firms were said to charge up to four or five times what this firm quoted me. Next time you are in need of legal assistance, give them a call. You’ll be glad you did.

I"ve had great experience working with Stuart on my legal matters. He has always been very accessible and helped me understand the legal terminology whenever I needed his service. Ive reached out Juanita on two occasions to deal with issues with landlords. The first was a small claims against a landlord who stole our deposit. The second time a landlord trying to file a eviction with no fault. Not only everyone in this firm is responsive but they are diligent specially when things are time sensitive. Do yourself a favor a call Juanita Guillen and her team. They truly have your back. Dealing with LLT disputes is very stressful and often landlords will try to take advantage of their tenants. I can say after Juanita and her team got to work i felt that I was in good hands. Will absolutely recommend to anyone having any type of issues to reach out. Shes an absolute MVP. In my two cases juanita was able to get my deposit back and-or have the whole eviction dismissed. Im truly thankful for her work.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! After contacting SD attorney referral line I was quickly contacted by Stuart Mellman to assist in my restraining order case. I felt he really listened to my needs. He sent a strong cease & desist letter first per my request. When the respondent didn’t comply we followed through on the restraining order. I had a lot of anxiety in seeing the respondent in court. Jacob & I zoomed in from the law offices together so I wasn’t alone. They did an excellent job coaching me on what to expect. Several cases on the slate that day didn’t result in a restraining order as most plaintiffs had no attorney and missed the details. Mellman & Mellman did everything for me including prepping me for a bogus small claims court case by the respondent as well. Thanks to them I won both cases with very little work on my end.

I had a really diificult case where I flirted with a Lyft driver when I was intoxicated and she accused me of Simple Battery. It was not a easy case. The Hlaw group really stuck with me through the case and in the end it was dismissed after much negotiation and admitting myself into a recovery program for a long period of time. The lawyers representing the Hlaw group are focused on helping people get through hard times when they make mistakes. They are always professional and focused on these goals. I would recommend the Hlaw group to anyone facing criminal prosecution. Do not do it on your own. The system is out for blood and you need a skilled legal group on your side.
