Communication with Mellman & Mellman was quick and everyone in their office is highly knowledgeable and professional, each team member graciously helped me with my case. They helped me view and stick to the big picture. I felt comfortable during the whole process, definitely recommend to anyone who needs guidance.

I am very glad I contacted Juanita when I did. There was a legal matter I had been dealing with on my own for some time and it was getting exhausted. Initially, I was not sure which area of law applied to my situation and it took a bit of research to clarify it was a civil law issue. Ultimately, I needed a lawyer to decipher a legal form I received that contained tons of vague language. After receiving referrals, I reached out to a few attorneys to discuss details. The others did not “feel right” or did not fully inspire confidence. Juanita was the most professional, accessible, personable, to the point and heard me out. And best of all, she helped me resolve a legal matter that was starting to drag out. She was prompt to read the document, explain what it said, and clarified the language so that it was specific. I would work with Juanita again (although I hope I am not in a predicament where I need a lawyer again!) and would recommend her to family and friends.

Juanita and her team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, especially for folks like us that have never really had to seek counsel from an attorney before. They have helped us get together on our life planning as well as disputes. Juanita was helpful to us in resolving our issue with a large apartment company. We had issues with noise and the apartment management was not taking us seriously with our issue. This a great Firm for Restraining Orders and Family Law issues. After spending two weeks of unsucessfully trying to find a responsive firm for my Elder Abuse Restraining Order defense, this firm responded quickly, was attentive, provided a reasonable fee stucture up front, and worked quickly and diligently on my case, included me in the drafting process of court submitted documents, won my case at trial, and received leave from the Court to file for Atty fees. Highly Recommend!

I had a complex Restraing Order issue as a defendant, including years of dealing with a vexatious litigant. I was planning on going Pro Se, as I couldn't find a responsive attorney after two weeks of diligent search. Then I made the right call to Mellman & Mellman. They took my complex issues and simplified them. They were up front on the fee structure, started working on my case right away, included me in the drafting process to insure we had all the history correct, and had great insight to the issues of law that would be relevant to the court, and won the case on nearly the written response alone! Also recieved leave from the Court to file a motion for fees! If I could leave Six Stars I would! I highly Recomend Stuart and his team (Thanks Sarah, great work!).

I found out about Stuart from the San Diego County Bar Lawyer referral service. I have found some good lawyers through it and Stuart was no exception. My mother filed a restraining order against me (she's in the early stages of dementia and crazy) and Stuart took a few minutes of his time and several phone calls that day to review the document to say the lawyer she used was majorly incompetent and they had no case against me (especially with the overwhelming evidence I had.) He said the case would get dismissed and he even said, "You don't need my help. But if you want it I will do it for a reduced rate." The raving reviews are all true. Thank you Stuart.

It’s hard to find an honest lawyer that’s genuinely willing to help you. Juanita Guillén Mellman helped my mother and I when another lawyer had stolen out money and never showed up to court, the case had been closed and it wasn’t easy to work on. The second we stepped into the beautiful offices of Mellman & Mellman we were greeted by friendly faces who were listening and willing to help.
