I have only positive things to say about this law firm. I went into not knowing anything about how to handle my divorce. I am glad I called. I was represented by Eric Schneider who since the first call I was impressed by how professional and knowledgeable Eric was. I knew I had the right place. Eric approach was direct and at the same time sensitive and understanding. Eric always follow up and never left me in the dark. The defamation lawsuit was initiated by two council members and a developer and derived from an article titled, "Shady Business on the Solana Beach Train Tracks," boldly stating the council members and developer (now plaintiffs) were jointly involved in a backdoor deal. The developer made a $1.15 M donation to Solana Beach's Gateway Park and in return was awarded a project which could exceed $100 M. David and I communicated for several months prior to finally receiving a summons. David has always listened, kept his promises and followed through as he stated he would. Mr. Sylvester has helped my family tremendously as he represented me with a appeal and now he is representing me in the family law. John Sylvester was my divorce attorney last year, he also handled the custody and child support cases. He is very professional, honest, timely, thorough, and organized. The process was very stressful, and the case took a few unexpected twists and turns. During these times, I was always advised on which options I had, and what those options would entail (cost, court, time, etc). The Law Office of David C Beavans which also include Caitlin V. Steele and John T. Sylvester is by far the best Family Law Firm that I have ever had the privilege of coming in contact with. My case is very intense and complicated; they took my case when no one would. I had given up until Caitlin called me unexpectedly and informed me that the firm would take my case it bought tears to my eyes, not because they took the case but because they believed in me. The Firm knew I was fighting a bully and they were willing to fight for me (the Firm felt I had been beaten down). I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the services I have received from David Beavans and his legal team. I hired David after searching around for a family law attorney months ago. My Aunt is retired from working in a law firm and after her own research she suggested David to represent me in what should have been a cut and dry case. You may think your family law case should be easy enough to handle, but the other party can be quite unpredictable in these sensitive situations. My simple case faced twists and turns that could have still kept me waiting to this day to get resolved. Luckily I hired David and his excellent staff to take care of it all. I had a time frame in which I was determined and depending on to get my case pretty much settled by the time I needed it (not want, NEEDED it) to be wrapped up with orders in place. Davids law firm as a whole saw that through and met my goals. David is very astute and knowledgeable in family law and when it finally comes down to show time, he delivers without any hesitation. He will fight for you in court, but its the process that leads up to that point in which I am very grateful for.
