Recently, my wife and I listed our property on market. A couple buyers made an offer, and extended their closing deadline multiple times due to their loan application. In the final extension, the buyers kept assuring they would like to buy our house. We doubled check with the buyer agent before moving out the property during the weekend to ensure buyers can move in following Monday. On Monday morning (closing date), we received a call from title company that buyers cancel their appointment at the last minute when all documents were in place to sign. Yet, Buyers requested 50% of their deposit. Immediately, we decided to call Damian as he had help us in a previous dispute with a different real estate transaction. We quickly setup consultation with him and he reviewed our real estate contract, and provided us legal opinions and options. Best of all, he suggested some strategies to approach the case before both parties lawyer up.
