I first came into contact with Mr. Nick Martin a couple of years ago. I had a contract with another law office, was unhappy and wanted to know what my options were. I read a blog article that Nick posted and contacted his office. I did not go through an answering service, or other staff, but was able to speak with him directly at the first call. Nick took the time to listen to my concerns, explained to me what the situation was, why he wasn’t able to help but provided me with some direction with dealing with the other office.
I wished he was my first call.
Since then, anytime I’ve had any legal questions, including a recommendation for a process server, Nick has been very informative and all of his recommendations came through.
While I’m not a client, and I hope that I don’t ever need any more legal service, Nick Martin will always be the first person I will contact. I hired Fulvio Picerno to represent me after my keg was run over and broken by a car, while I was in a crosswalk. Fulvio was wonderful to talk to and work with in person, phone, and email. Last November my husband was involved in a bicycle versus vehicle accident where a car struck him, ran over him and broke his leg. Mr. Tonelli represented me in a personal injury case where I was hit by an under-insured motorist. Kampf, Schiavone & Associates are the best attorneys ever! Although my cases were difficult & complicated with multiple work injuries, Schiavone, Kampf & Associates never gave up on my cases with both, Workmen’s Comp, and my Subsequent Injury Benefit Trust Fund case, also known as SIBTF. I started with Kampf, Schiavone, & Associates a few years back, & they were finally able to get the State Workmen’s Compensation Board & State (my employer) to come to a final agreement & we settled with a fairly good outcome for me, and I was very happy with that Permanent & Stationary settlement. It’s very difficult trying to settle any type of a case with the state of California, but my attorney’s at Kampf, Schiavone, & Associates did just that for me., and they did it extremely well. They also found me great doctors to provide the lifetime medical care I needed, and where I live, that’s not an easy thing to do.
Immediately after my case was settled with Workmen’s Compensation, my attorneys advised me that I might qualify for the State SIBTF award. And my attorneys began the process of setting me up with the required various Medical evaluations, which didn’t take very long at all. I think the whole process of all the evaluation took about perhaps less than a year maybe, and then my attorneys set up with the State of CA SIBTF for SIBTF court hearings, which I did not have to go to at all. My attorney took care of everything For me.
Bottom line, my attorneys won me 100% with approximately 7.5-8 years of backpay, Plus a substantial monthly amount of income for the remainder of my life-span. I am very thankful for everything Kampf, Schiavone, & Associates did for me. I don’t know what I would had done without them, & their help, but I do know this: Schiavone, Kampf, & Associates never gave up on me & my cases with them. They fought long & hard for me, and provided me with solid emotional support, when things felt too hard & overwhelming for me…they were always there for me. If not for Mr. Schiavone, the staff & my attorneys, Mark, Kathy, & Amy, Jessica, & litigation assistants, each & everyone of them, I would not be well off today, if not for these wonderful expert injury attorneys at Kampf, Schiavone & Associates. Divorce is difficult to say the least. When I first started the divorce process, I talked to several lawyers. But I wasn’t looking for someone aggressive or unresponsive. At the first interview with Steve, I knew he was the right attorney for me. He was calming, almost like a dad, he made me feel validated and provided reassurance. I wasn’t unreasonable in what I wanted out of the divorce. It was a long tiresome process. But Steve knew what I deserved and the best way to obtain a fair judgement. I hired Todd for a very serious charge pertaining to operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. This was a Felony matter and the possibility of an extend jail sentence was real and highly probable. From the first visit with him in Oakland county Jail he was honest and upfront with me on what he felt he could bring to the table. I couldn’t be happier with his services from the day of retention all the way through to sentencing. He was always very responsive and fought hard against the prosecutor when they tried to make a case for a harsher punishment. Todd was also very fairly priced for the experience and knowledge of the Judges and Prosecutors in Oakland county. I was in an accident where I suffered many injuries and had a long, challenging recovery.
While I was hospitalized my friend kept telling me I needed a lawyer. I did not want to get involved with a lawsuit. I thought the defendant’s insurance would take care of everything and all would work out.
My friend was persistent that I call his friend Jim Leonick and talk about the accident. I finally agreed.
Jim came to the hospital. Within a few minutes of speaking with him, I knew I needed his help.
After signing on with Jim, I was able to direct everything accident related his way. Any questions or concerns I had through the process was answered with just a quick friendly call to his office. I was able to completely focus on healing and physical therapy, worry free.
I honestly don’t know what I would have done without him. Jim and his staff are extremely professional and personable. It felt like I had a friend supporting me that knew exactly what he was doing.

In the darkest, early morning hours, I was driving to work, heading west on SR 52, taking the transition road to Interstate 15 north. Suddenly, out of nowhere, right in front of me, I see a crashed trailer turned on its side, blocking the entire single lane transition road. Because I did not have time to do anything but slam on the brakes, I unavoidably drove into the turned over trailer. I suffered a serious injury and am fortunate to be alive.
