Last year I was rear ended pretty badly. The other party did not have any ins on hand at the time. I was recommended by a friend to seek out help with Bobby. He is super nice and knowledgeable. He guided me step by step of what to do. Mr Sasan was quick into getting us compensated and files any necessary paper works that would help with the case. Bobby was so understanding about my situation and even help taken me to see the pain management appointment because I didn't have a baby sitter for my one year old son that day. I spoke with Attorney Kopelson (Robert) last week concerning a traffic accident (rear-end collision).
I respectfully disagree with the very few negative Yelp reviews of Robert. I think the review gives an unfair, one-sided depiction of Robert's personality.

Mr. Robert answered a question I had on Avvo and even though he could not take our legal malpractice case against an attorney that handled over settlement funds to A third party without the consent of the attorneys client we appreciate him calling us in answering and talking and giving advice on what to do for over an hour on the telephone. I retained Mr Hausmann based on an excellent referral in September of 2017. I certainly wasn’t disappointed, and I’m not easy to please, being a former legal assistant in Minnesota some years ago. I was in an automobile accident and Mr Hausmann knew exactly what to do; when to do it and ultimately negotiated a settlement that was fair. His staff also was extremely helpful when he wasn’t available. Calls were returned timely and questions answered sufficiently. He has excellent negotiation skills and I would definitely recommend him. His office is also very easy to get , and that was important to me, being retired.

Having decided to rewrite my will, I had to find a qualified attorney. After asking around and not finding anyone, I went online to look up lawyers in my area and read reviews. There were several that sounded good but either didn’t take the time to call me or requested that I make an appointment at $300 an hour.
Jay Fox was very gracious. He called me within an hour or two and we talked for maybe 20 minutes to a half hour. He assured me that he didn’t charge for this initial consultation, only if I decided to enlist his services.
He was so helpful and detail oriented, unlike me. He thought of everything that I didn’t. He turned an unpleasant chore into a satisfying outcome.

Scott and his team were excellent to work with. I was involved in a head on collision at a very busy intersection by a woman going 45-50 mph. She failed to stop at the red light and ran right through this intersection on a sunny dry morning at 9:30 am. As a pre-existing condition (potential) client I was unsure how my health condition would result in a positive settlement outcome. In speaking with a colleague, I was referred to Scott and went in for a consult. Scott felt that pending new imaging and comparing it to my most recent (less than 1 year old) imaging that I potentially had a case as an "eggshell" plaintiff. Long story short and multiple therapies later (2+) years I was able to avoid multiple adverse life altering surgeries at the present time-pending further neurological damage. I am a single mother getting on my feet. I had 4 traffic tickets from 7 7-10 years ago. The total for all for was right at $5000. I was in a horrible controlling relationship and didn't have a chance to start taking care of them until this year. I searched for traffic lawyers in the LV area, I am now in California. Since day one the staff here has been so helpful. I thought I would have to pay the tickets before I could even think about getting my license back. But a month or so in to the process they reached out that I could get my license. They contacted the court to have it released to the DMV and then the DMV did their part. Then within a week I had my paper license in hand. When they finally went to court, I figured maybe they'd get the total between all 4 tickets down to half. I was so surprised with the total between all for tickets was $771 dollars. I cried. I did 5 hrs of traffic school online through a company they recommended and when an issue arose with doing my certificate the staff at Mr. Maridon's office took care of it instantly. I thank them for making this whole ordeal so smooth and stress-free.

I must say dealing with the Maridon Law Firm has been a unique pleasure from start to finish, heres why..I had another atty prior to Maridon Law deal with an issue I had, long/short they completely screwed everything up. Feeling disparaged about my experience, I started doing research online and came across Joseph Maridon Esq.. I took a shot in the dark not expecting much after my last experience that ended horribly, and to my amazement Maradon Law not only reopened my case and fixed the other attys mistakes, they reduced my fine and somehow pulled off NO traffic school, though it was part of the expected outcome that I would probably have to! Maradon Law and staff treated me with respect and dignity throughout the entire process, and sent continual updates every step of the way. Fact is, drama free help like this is hard to come by these days. The atty even took my phone call about a more recent concern, and the conversation was very pleasant, informative and wasn't rushed. Matt Bretz and his team handled my personal injury case in spectacular fashion culminating in a fair and just settlement well before going to trial. Their successful track record of years of ethical practices and knowledgeable, effective representation served me well. The lawyer you choose does make a difference.
I suffered a debilitating injury in a fall due to unsafe conditions while dining in a Kansas tourist town. We tried to negotiate a fair settlement with the proprietor's insurance company ourselves but they offered us only a laughable, token amount to sign off on all claims since their “investigation” concluded that their client was not at fault.
My husband had purchased a couple books on the subject of seeking a premises liability settlement without hiring a lawyer, which greatly aided our case. Learning from the many actual case histories detailed Matt’s book, we were able to compose a compelling and eloquent Demand Letter. Still, the insurance company knew they had the upper hand especially since we were out-of-state and out-gunned. So they hoped that we would simply give up in frustration fighting an uphill battle.
One of the books that we purchased from Amazon titled “And Justice for All: Win Your Injury Case with Honesty and Integrity” was co-authored by Matthew Bretz and Melinda Young of Hutchinson, Kansas. Besides the book’s excellent content, the law firm of Bretz and Young was a perfect fit geographically since we now needed a lawyer that was licensed to practice in Kansas yet not in the immediate vicinity of the same town. The stars were aligned which led us to call Matt’s office and shortly afterward he pulled off the road to call us for details. He enthusiastically convinced us that he wanted to take this case (for public safety concerns as well) and was confident in a favorable outcome. He followed up by having photos taken of the deteriorating premise conditions the following weekend and he took charge from day one.
Matt is a very cordial and compassionate gentlemen but when it came to his negotiating skills in mediation, his tenacity and experience shone through. Mediation is an increasingly common (and often mandated) formal procedure before assigning a court date that often results in early settlement. We quickly learned to appreciate having Matt on our side. The opposing lawyer team tried a couple tricks but Matt saw right through them and put them on the defense. He then cleverly devised a simple yet effective formula of assigning a calculated value of pain and suffering that a jury could easily assign a tangible figure. Just the mention of presenting this to a jury in closing arguments instantly broke the stalemate in mediation negotiations, leading to a quick and rewarding resolution without the time-consuming expense and uncertainty of a jury trial.
Regardless of whether or not you might try going it alone, you would do well to purchase a couple books such as Matt’s to educate yourself for one of the most important financial events of your life. Before you say or do something that might jeopardize your case, take the time to research and learn how the legal system works. Most likely if your case rises to a high dollar figure, you will benefit greatly by choosing the right lawyer to achieve a fair and just settlement. We found our perfect match in Bretz and Young.

When our father died the will he left was contested by a family member. With no money for a lawyer my brother and I were forced to go it alone in court. I consulted Craig Walkon after talking to another attorney about a medical malpractice case I potentially had. The practice I talked to wasn't able to help me but highly recommended Mr. Walkon. Mr. Walkon listened to me with patience and he really cared about what I had been through not only physically but emotionally as well. He had me send him all of my records (which were a lot) and he took the time to go through them for free. Mr. He offered me solid legal advice and I was able to settle my case outside of a courthouse. It was his legal expertise that helped get me through my situation with out going from attorney to attorney. I found Jim by accident while "googling" "NM ski laws". The firm name showed up on a document explaining what I had "googled". I also asked an attorney friend of mine for a recommendation. I talked to each of the 3 names I was given. One said I needed someone with much experience in ski law and the other two were not impressive. So, I contacted Jim Chalat and from our first conversation, I knew he was the one to represent my wife. He was very familiar with NM ski law even though from the beginning he told us that he could not go to court in NM but would direct the case with a local attorney of his choosing. We engaged him to represent my wife and we were very pleased with his expertise in skiing, knowledge of NM ski law and in negotiating with the potential defendants insurance company. He was up front with us every step of the way. He got us what we thought was a reasonable recovery given that my wife decided that she did not want to go to court. Blade was a "SAVIOR". After being turned down by two other attorneys, I found Linton Blade Thompson. I was in an auto accident that was no fault of my own where I was rear-ended, and I only had Liability insurance. No other attorney would take the case because the return was so small.
